Are we back to Jalopnik Supra days?

Source? The gas-electric hybrid with a manual transmission has already been known to be part of the 3rd gen GR86's design so porting over that technology to the Supra doesn't sound far fetched at all.
Anything Tada-san said I take it with grain of salt but at one point he did say they will continue to work with BMW. I mean, I believe they're collaborating on the hydrogen stuff and supposedly coming out with something together is 2025 if it hasn't changed..2) Toyota will have to use another BMW platform, most likely the current 2-series (doubtful, and who wants a fat ass Supra?)
3) BMW lets Toyota keep using the current/outgoing Z4 for the next Supra (this to me seems the most likely of the three)
Interesting. Almost a month ago I post this video simply as something relevant to us all in regards to the car we want to see continue on into a new generation.

If you can pickup a new/used ICE powered vehicle now….do it!!! I recently purchased a 1989 Raider SWB (aka Pajero), and am doing a Lexus V8 swap and restomod. I just can’t see myself in a EV anytime soon….maybe in 15-20yrs.Something tells me this generation will be the best and last good generation of supra ever. We are in the final era of fully gas powered cars boys its almost over for america…
