I would like to add my brakes are performing great! In case anybody is wondering about different setups, from the "norm", that still work:

Hawk DTC60 pads.
Castrol SRF fluid.
Nankang CR-S tires.

That's it.

The car is faster than my track-prepped car was. That's crazy. I was occasionally going into ABS, which tells me these brake pads would probably like a stickier tire. I have learned where the limit is and have adjusted my driving accordingly.
Digging this car, so far.
Good to hear! I'm thinking about swapping my Endless MX72 pads to DTC60s, how are they on the street?

I’m digging the Maxxis tires with the above pads & fluid. If you get a chance to try em, would love to hear your thoughts.
The CR-S is the best tire I can run in my class. I'm limited by performance points.
Adjusting my foot to compensate wasn't too hard. These pads modulate decently... But, I have to say I wouldn't mind throwing the boat anchor out and pulling some deceleration G forces ?

I can't really say. I pretty much only drive the car to the gas station and back. They seem fine though. Car stops fine, not as much noise as I expected.
If I absolutely could not change pads for street driving, I would be okay with leaving these on.

The CR-S is faster than the Maxxis RC-1's anyway.

Great on the street! Like @kaj, I’me definitely not going to change them. Also, checkout the price on Tirerack and Speed Industry. Phenomenal bang for the track buck.

I have also used a lot of different tires. And agree the Maxxis rc2 handle these pads well. Some of the 200 treadwear you have to adjust your braking a bit as you can easily out brake the tires. I still would recommend these pads. Just need to adjust driving a bit based on tires. The Ar1 s are also a good choice as mentioned as well.
Mine are the RC-1, 100 tread wear. Great grip from start to finish (cord), affordable, and last a long time, which adds to my bias.

The CR-S is faster than the Maxxis RC-1's anyway.
I definitely have to try those!

Has anyone actually ordered the hawk rear pads, either the dtc60 or 70 and confirmed they fit? The pad shape number in the chart on page one doesn’t match the the pad shape number that hawk lists on their website. Thanks!
I’d reach out to TireRack. They are able to look up what fits and what doesn’t pretty easily. And what’s available. I‘ve bought DTC30s from them and no complaints. Those rotors are massive back there! But I’m running DTC60s up front. So it’s nice to have some split friction.

Are you running a big brake kit up front that’ll fit DTC70s?

No just running stock brakes. I’m trying to get her out for her first event. I’m very familiar with the 60’s so I was hoping to just pick those up.
I saw the 30’s but they have a weird friction curve and I don’t want any more brake bias going to the front with the reduction in mu on the 30’s vs the 60’s.
I was pleasantly surprised how well these Hawk DTC 60/30 preform. Like you, I couldn’t find the 70s and was worried I’d need more. I really don’t. Now I know a ton of other guys down here running on them. Fantastic track pads ?

For anytime looking for options:
I have a base model rear brake so running DTC60 front and Carbotech XP10 rear. No complaints.

I have found very few vendors that have the correct part numbers for base model rear brakes. Actually, only one. The rest have it information stating that they are all the same, which is incorrect.

Also very happy with the Project-μ Club Racers. No hint of fade whatsoever during my first track day with the pads. They did overwhelm the PSSs pretty easily. I can't wait to try them out with proper 200tw tires.

Also happy to report that during my commute in high-30F weather the pads still have plenty of bite for the street when cold. They're not even very loud. Great pads.

Great to have options! Project Mu will also be on my backup list thanks to Bryan and Wes ? I’m at ~$400 for a full set front and rear. Hence my love for Hawk so far. And past experience.

Why not stick to the same brand and run Hawk DTC30s in the rear Jason?

Thoughts on brake pads after One Lap:
- I ran the CSG 21 (front) and the CSG 11 (rear)
- No more/no less dusty than other track pads
- After 5000 combined street/track miles, there is plenty of pad left, front and rear
- Initial bite on the street is fine. They are a lot less noisy on the street than the Hawk DTC-70s I ran last year on the Cayman
- Initial bite is HARD on track. I had to tune my brain to not press the pedal so hard initially, as it upset the car
- This isn't the CSGs fault, but I did a crappy job of bedding the pads in, so I have some deposits on the front rotors and a little pulsing under heavy braking
- I always felt like I had enough brake to stop the car. When I overshot a braking zone and had to stab the brakes to stop the car, it always felt like there was more brake available
- I can't speak to how they handled heat since the sessions were so short

Yes, CSGs are horribly expensive, but for my use case, I cannot complain about performance at all. The only thing I would want to change is initial bite characteristics, with a bit more gentle ramp up to full bite. That's more of a subjective "me" thing.

Happy to report my Project Mu Club Racers Front/Rear still work great even with almost 160whp more power.
I have run Mu 999 pads and they are really really close to CSG 21/11

I was coincidentally wondering the same thing. I haven't seen that DTC 60 part number mentioned anywhere else, so wasn't sure the source.

On a related note, does anyone know which BMW's use the same rear brakes (premium), so I can check for compatibility?
