I’d go as stiff as you can tolerate. Just make sure you don’t skip around like a stone. So depending on your other parts (coilover settings), you may not want the stiffest settings. But in general, I’d start stiff and you can always dial it down depending on your feel, other parts or wheel hop.

Have you done your free track day yet? It’ll be fun to compare for sure with those sway bars! Congrats man

Have not done the free track day as of yet. But I have taken the car to a few HPDE events. One track that tests out the suspension is NYST like a rollercoaster ride ?

Just got Eibach Sway bars installed. Im going to keep Front Bar Middle setting and rear on the softest setting to start off with. What are your settings for adjustable sways bars????

Just remember: some body roll is not always a bad thing. It can help with lateral Gs and save your tires. Though full-on stiff subjectively *feels* better and is great for autocross (slaloms).

just copied the wiring and rough setup of the factory one, we're both using the lifeline light, mine is somewhat reversible

I run the exact same. Felt much better on the big turns like turn 2 at Barber & 9 at NSS. Front I could go with Full stiff or Middle. Rear's I haven't liked anything but softest so far especially if it's any high speed track. I also have the Eibach springs too.

porsche's strategy with RS cars has been to double spring rates, and soften sway bars with the last few iterations

factory gt4 is running full soft as well

I tie down using wheel straps. Why are you wanting to immobilize the car's suspension?

Do not cross straps. Actually a big no no


Cloth straps go through wheels. They don’t mark

That's like asking "Why have your suspension compressed for thousands of miles if it doesn't have to?". Or "Why pull on the frame for thousands of miles if it doesn't have to", etc. Straps have to pull on something, doesn't really matter which way you go.

As soft as you can tolerate will maximize mechanical grip.

I usually run rear soft and front mid and probably would only adjust the front bar to get more grip or sharpen turn in.

Rear traction is already challenging enough that I wouldn’t up the stiffness in the rear unless I had really soft springs or were in a low-power/low-speed scenario like autocross.

Great points coming from a MX5. Love your guys ( @garudathree included) input! Mine feels so good now. But maybe she’ll feel even better on softer sway settings ?. I still haven’t gotten the race kids behind the wheel yet…

You’re ride looks insane! Which series are you going to race in? The Thunder Bunny Supra is killing it in WRL!

My Eibach springs were too low for one of the tracks down here. Mega glad they worked out for you! Assume you’ve got the euro spec ones. I still have mine if anyone can make em work. I need to post those and the Verus camber plates somewhere for sale.

Can someone clarify for me, when people are referring to ‘one push for off’, what is this actually referring to. Does that mean VSC is being turned off but not traction control? I didn’t see anything in the owners manual that seemed helpful and I didn’t notice anything happening when doing a long hold on the traction off button on the center console. Thanks

1 click turns off traction control. Long press turns off traction control + stability control. VSC = Vehicle Stability Control.

Stability control basically modulates the brakes if you are getting out of control. Also cuts some timing. It's not very invasive unless you are driving like an ape.

Traction control basically neuters everything: throttle, brakes, timing. If you are lowered on different size tires, etc it can be VERY invasive on the 2020's. It seems like each year after the 20, it was programmed to intervene a little less. On my 2020, it's basically undrivable on track with everything on. I run with 1 click off.
