Can't connect my 2023 model to supra connect app

Hi
I got the car last month and I have been trying to connect it to app ( in iphone) from last month and it keep showing error " we couldn't locate your vehicle... contact customer service..."
i am wondering if it's common or do base model dont have it or what should I do to fix this
Any input is appreciated

They are like we don't support supra . You have to contact supra and gave me some phone number and when I call them I haven't able to reach out to them yet

Are you sure you are using the Supra connect app and not the Toyota connect app? Dealership had me install the Toyota app and obviously it never worked and when I called them back to ask they told me to install the Supra specific app and it worked fine.

the “telematics” is an option and isn’t included on all models. In order to use the app and pair it with your vehicle you must have it installed from the factory. I asked about installing it after delivery and was told it can’t happen. Unfortunately not all models are capable of using the app thus can’t purchase the Apple car play or navigation stuff.

I had the same issue with my 2023 when I got it over a year ago and just gave up on the app. I was on Android at the time and switch to Apple a couple months ago. Maybe I should try it now that I am on an iPhone.
