what difference ru noticing after the removal?
The most noticeable difference is that it gets rid of the weirdness in the 1-2 shift. Basically it just makes clutch engagement feel more consistent and more like any other car. BMWs CDVs are particularly agressive for whatever reason. People have been removing these since the mid 90s when they were first implemented.

I actually just finished up a small write up on how to do this:

Did it.

Pulled the trigger on an Active Autowerke Catted Downpipe and Injen 19-20 BMW Z4 / 2020 Toyota Supra 3.0L Turbo Intake and Charge Pipe. Already tuned, so really looking forward to really opening it up a bit.

Install next week, will post before and after clips :headbang:

2.5 years and 140 hours of labor later. Glad to know I haven't lost my touch with the paint gun.

Productive day in the garage: Tried my hand at wrapping the roof gloss black (first time wrapping), really happy with how it turned out!! Also added a couple of small carbon bits for accents. Thing is really coming together!

Was supposed to do a day at Thompson tomorrow but I'm dead from the last two days. Enjoy!
Really great day today. Not many people, so there was a lot of space on track and lots of clean laps to be had. I really improved a lot, had a blast.
