Bench Unlock in AZ ?

I have a tuneable DME that has the recall done to it and wanted to get everything prepped before purchasing my BM3 / flex fuel kit.

Was wondering if anyone can name any shops that offer this service and are in Arizona? Thank you!

Anyhow, I don't know the ETA, but I came to say that MHD and I think 2 other companies stated that they're working on a DME unlocker that's supposedly going to come out soon. That's if you can wait that long..

Marin is your best bet if he is local/close to you in AZ. He has the knowledge and can get it done without issues. If you can't find someone just let me know you can mail it to us and we can Unlock it and have it back in the mail same day. Turn around from ship to receive is about 3 days all said and done. Or you can make a trip out to Cali for a small vacation and we can get it done within less than an hour for you. Feel free to msg any questions you have even if we aren't doing it - more than happy to help you.

I have not done any tuning to mine but am interested to see how this goes. I am in Az and have connected with some of you but if not come see me at the az tracks if you want to connect as I have done a things to the car with 80 track days and counting so happy to share my experiences on set up etc.

I too am going with track set up. This build is quite fresh but there is a lot in store for these upcoming weeks. What track do you go to? Apex? I hope we cross paths in the near future!
Also what suspension set up are you rocking?

I've contacted Marin and Parts Score but both shops seemed busy with projects and couldn't get back to me on when their next available date was. I actually happen to find someone local that was able to unlock it the next day of making contact. His name is daniel and goes by @azcarkeysncomputers. He's charging $250 which is very affordable compared to others. He was very quick and was done within 10-15 minutes of arriving.

I've already purchased BM3 and waiting for their flex fuel kit to arrive. Down pipe, charge pipe, flex fuel, and tune will all be installed this upcoming week. Ill keep you guys updated if it flashes seamlessly!

My next one will be Inde in sept. Have been working out of town this year so not able to make as many events as I would like. So Amp, Inde, podium club and Radford events with NASA ,Pro Auto and PCA. I ran on stock shocks with sport springs camber plates and all adjustable control arms until recently going to KW coil overs. 275/35/18 square set up apex wheels which gives you a lot tire choices. We’ll be interested to see what all you end up doing to yours.

Why is the average cost to ship the ECU so high? What have others paid to ship to someone like BimmerPro?

Yup $250 flat and you’re out within 10-15 minutes. I don’t know if you already have MHD or not, but it’s best if you do so he can flash it right on the spot to ensure you don’t get any codes. He actually prefers MHD but I went the BM3 route and successfully flashed three times since then.

Oof I think you're out of luck. Bench unlocks are only catered to Supras with a tuneable DME that is dated before 06/2020 (usually 2020-2021 models). In this case, you're going to need a FEMTO unlock which is a lot more than a simple bench unlock and requires you to ship out your DME.
@viscontituning is one of the companies that provide this service. I only know the gists of all this stuff, but you can contact them so they can explain within depth.

I am having a hard time understanding why Femto is the only company in the whole entire world that is able to unclock ecu’s after 6/2020.

What are they doing that is so special that no one else on America can copy? There isn’t all the much info on the whole process of how it’s done and why only they can do it. Wondering if anyone can shed some light on this for me
