Doubtful... I am going to sound like a broken record saying this, because I've said it multiple times in the past, but Toyota probably had this planned from the start.:ninja::ninja: They know exactly how much is riding on this car and living up to the MKIV, which is known as "the legend" by many people, so I am confident this has been kept secret for a good reason. I don't know what exactly it is, but it has to be something damn good for @PerformanceSound to be this excited! I am hopeful and may start saving some pennies to park this thing next to the MKIV's :headbang:
Let me put it this way.....someone reputable on this forum already sold their MKIV to get the MKV. Not going to mention any names....I promise you that.

Let me ask you just one question... Did Toyota in fact have more to do with engineering this Supra than the internet makes it seem?? :hmm: That is all I want to know :D:D

I'm thinking it's something way bigger to warrant the "breaking the internet" post HAHA

Are they doing whatever they are doing because of the consensus on the car currently?

More or less +1 to the above.

My guess is a 2jz successor. Since everyone thought the supra was coming with a bmw engine...if Toyota comes out with a toyota inline 6 "3jz", I could imagine some "breaking internet" worthiness haha

Honestly, I don't know that. I am in no way a resource like A70TTR, Guff, etc... I just happen to stumble across a reputable Toyota employee who had some interesting information to share with me :D. However, the latest I have heard from that person.....really got me thinking twice about the MKV Supra, no joke. Also, what I had heard about the "few chassis'" going to Motomachi....I still don't know why. Are they for research?...racing?...GR?...etc... Not to mention if the motors will be shipped in the cars or separately??? @A70TTR I am sure you would shed some light on this if you knew.

I know vague details about various things (relative to the past at least), but I'm not supposed to talk about it.

I wasn't warned directly, but there was a recommendation to not give out any other information.

Yeah, I hope I didn't say too much. I am sorry if I did, I just got a little too excited.

Good shit though...

Wow! What are they putting into this thing? A secret developed V8 TT that is going in the LCF and decided to put into the Supra? :):headbang:

If I break into the Toyota headquarters in Plano (which is 2 mins where I live) will I find out the info?? Lol
