I placed my order on 6/20. since then my order hasnt shipped and i reached out to triple seven several times and each time they had a different excuse.

the first time i contacted them by email they said it’d ship early last week (which it didnt) then i reached out again two days ago and he said the order would be out before friday. my order still hasnt shipped. I reached out to them again today several times with no response.
They say their manufacturing machine is broken due to a storm, well for starters

1- they should’ve never sold a product on their website that said was in “stock” and would ship out in 3-4 days
2- this seems like a money grab until they actually fix their machine if they keep accepting orders for a product that’s discounted from $250 to $100.

Worst customer experience ever. highly don’t recommend.

*EDIT* after trying to reach them with no reply, Triple 777’s customer service reached out and were very apologetic saying they had technical difficulties. They stated that they’d ship all pending orders on monday. lets see where this goes.

Out of curiosity, didn't they tell you why it was delayed with the same reason? You mention they had a difference excuse each time. (I'm just going off the screenshots you shared)

well the first reason was a storm per what they said which i assumed was delayed shipping then they said their machine was broken. this sounds like different excuses to me. i just want what i paid for per the estimated shipping time they had on their website.

They explained in their message that "the storm caused lightning and our SLS machine wasn't protected". Sounds like they gave you a valid reason, not excuses. I think you should be a little more patient and take into consideration that delays can happen to any company for unforeseeable circumstances.

Also I think it's pretty unfair to "expose" and spread things about a business that gave you what seems like a valid reason for the delay. There's instances where it should be done but I don't think this is it.

I don't know them nor I am trying to protect them either, but I also run a parts website where we manufacture and design our own products and things always happen that can cause delays.

So the manufacturing issue is the same problem the whole time. Doesn't sound like they're giving you multiple excuses.
Are you meaning that they keep changing the shipping date? If so, that's normal when things go wrong.

nobody said anything about the delay. they should’ve updated their website to reflect what was happening rather than saying they had the items in stock and ready to ship in 3-4 days. im free to tell my experience with whoever sells products to help others.

That literally happens all the time to the even biggest and most reputable companies too. It's not always easy to update the product page immediately for every product. Sounds like you are just a bad customer. I hope future potential customers of them who see this won't base their purchasing decision on this review.

I'm on OP's side. If the item said "in stock" then it should've been in stock and ready to ship. If it wasn't, that's disingenuous.
Thats what im saying.. they took my money and im without the product for almost 2 weeks now..

1. Money grab?

I don't think you understand how accounting works. By them selling you product at $100, that income only goes into their books once. Even if they didnt ship it out for 2 months, them "holding onto" the shifters does not net them anymore money.

They've most likely discounted the shifters because now there exists TRUE magnetic paddle shifters for the $250 range. Not bashing on the company since it is an ingenious idea, but there would be no way to sustain that pricing when there are many more options available. So yeah, $100 seems fair, and sounds like more you were worried that they'd cancel your order and charge you the difference. (highly unlikely)

2. Even "In stock" items, did you forget about handling times?
I'm pretty sure Triple Seven is maybe a few people running it. Its not like Amazon where they have thousands of workers around the clock to handle logistics.

You placed your order under 2 weeks ago from a different CONTINENT. Have reasonable expectations. I'd hate to see how much you'd cry if you had to wait months for wheels coming from Japan like some of us have.

I'm sure they would allow you to volunteer your time to keep the website updated while they are busy working on resolving the problem.

For any of the old Evo guys here: @razorlab @Evolution ,
THIS is why I stopped selling oil pans. It's just not worth it when you're not making any money off the deal.
Every buyer thinks you're Amazon.com
