Today I was refueling and after I put E85 in, I put it in normal mode on the way to gas station for the first time EVER! Since the first time I test drove the car until now (I coded sport mode always in) I’ve never driven in normal mode and WOW what a difference! It almost felt like a mid 90’s Sentra, lol. So do you run sport mode or do you run normal mode most or all the time?!

Usually normal, you keep your damping on sport as well?

There is no normal mode in my car. Only Sport. My car is coded to start in Sport mode, start/stop is disabled, and valves are always open. Except for the suspension, everything is in sport mode, steering, shifts, etc.

Mine is my daily too. Still no excuse to put it in boring mode

Considering all of my other cars are much older and do not have a "sport" mode like this car, I am putting it into sport every time I drive it and it's still not there LOL

I consider the supra to be a nice grand tourer first. So for city and highway in comfort mode.
As I have a european model, the exhaust is very quiet in both mode so I coded the valve to be opened in both modes.
On twisty roads, sport mode but mostly for the steering/pedal feel, suspensions in comfort because the car is more playful and I don't want to have to drive at 200km/h to have fun.
Only on track I drive in fully sport mode.

Care to share how you coded that? Didn't think that was possible.

Sport mode in general but only the transmission is set to sport. I’d set the engine too but I HATE BURBLES! AWE exhaust sounds so good on downshifts without fake burble bullshit.

As a UK owner is doesn't make much difference to noise, but you do get the rev start type thing.

I have set my car up like the following:
Car is set to default to Sport PLUS or Sport Individual or whatever its called, Unlocked via bimmercode
In my cases that's:
Steering : Sport
Damping : Sport
Exhaust : Sport - but kinda irrelevant on a UK/EU/or Australian car as it does it's own thing anyway (apart from at start up)
Gearbox: Standard

However, if i'm driving around central london i quite quickly turn off sport mode after starting due to the number of speedbumps.

The reasons of the above are, Steering, I think i prefer in sport, i think the difference is very small but the weight is nicer....
Gearbox though, i dont get on with sport mode at all, on the motorway its a bit annoying as its always in a gear lower than it should be when cruising, I kind of which it had a feature where the second you put cruise on it changes up a gear to 8th while doing motorway speeds.
If i want to go "on it" i'm more likely to go into Sport mode and then manual on gearbox.
