They would probably have the different head designsIs the only difference between the track and base version just an extra 52hp? If so, I'll just get the base car and save $9k.

Idk about that. Others have hinted that Toyota will save that for the GRMN/TRD version. I'm betting it's just the more powerful B58 also found in the US spec Z4, which is also 382hp.They would probably have the different head designs
I am referring to the BMW B58 heads, one with the integrated exhaust manifold like in the X5, and the one with the traditonal style in the Z4, not the supposed Yahama/TRD/GR headIdk about that. And different headsThey can lighten it, Track version probably has forged wheels. Maybe a suspension upgrade with better seats. All of that + 52 HP. Toyota would justify 9K increase.
Ok I was also thinking its whatever is under the hood of the US Z4. Hence the same power output.I am referring to the BMW B58 heads, one with the integrated exhaust manifold like in the X5, and the one with the traditonal style in the Z4, not the supposed Yahama/TRD/GR head
Why can't it be both? The head shown in the RealOem leaks, in spy photos, and according to VIN leaks all cross reference the X5 or look like the X5 head aka the 330-340hp versionOk I was also thinking its whatever is under the hood of the US Z4. Hence the same power output.

In that post, you were clear as mud.In that post I'm just taking about the track version.
Encase you missed it I was agreeing with you...In that post, you were clear as mud.
I am simply explaining the 2 different HP 6 cylinder outputs (base vs track) and how they correspond with 2 different versions of the B58 heads (integrated manifold vs traditional) in terms of power
