Can someone explain Bm3 situation?

Im about to send my dme out on sept 13.

I have the wifi adapter as well as the ethernet to usb c cable.

I just bought my bm3 license as well.

is there anything else i need to do to get custom rom? Or will that automatically be installed once they do the unlock?

I bought my BM3 with all maps. When you log in to the bootmod site you will have a MyMaps section to modify your OTS maps and download them for programming.

Only things like cold start, torque reduction by gear, startup roar, etc etc
As far as actual custom tuning, no.

You cannot modify the OTS. What you are able to do is, load the stock map and modify that with all the tables at your service. Happy blowing up your engine ?

You can request a custom tune through a BM3 authorized tuner from the same dashboard.

Otherwise it's OTS maps with ability to change settings based on parts installed. CEL, cold start heating, speed limiter.

I just flashed the OTS map stage 2 91 octane from BM3 and made some configurations on the map on boost level actually like increasing the boost to 20 psi. Is that okay?

Before increasing boost you should data log the map and check for things like knock, fuel trim, Etc... if the ots map in its default format looks good, only then can you make little incremental adjustments then log again.
