I was also looking at the seats. I dont get the obsession with the mirrors on this forum.
It's not a deal breaker for me, but the ones provided by BMW do look a little generic. I think Toyota just cheapen out, but they could have at least looked in their own parts bin. imo, the ones from the 86, Camry, hell even the new Corolla looks more sporty.

You mean the people who fell in love with the FT-1 mirrors that had absolutely zero chance of ever making it onto a mass produced vehicle?
Alex Shen said it was doable. It would just have to be a little larger and something about a safely release. Sadly the bean counters won. :( Overall I still think its going to be a good looking car. The FT1 mirrors would have been the cherry on top and made it just a little extra special.

I think there will be an aftermarket company that will make a body kit (hood, front bumper, mirrors, and wing) to make it look more like the FT1.

The seats on the Z4 are slightly sturdy on the edges and soft in the center if that helps

Yeah I don't understand all this fuss about the mirrors either, all the mirrors looked the same to me on the mules, or were they actually the same? I don't know I don't care about mirrors really, and if I did I'd just go aftermarket or any other OEM one that would fit.

Can't the same be said about the people complaining about the lost of the active wing, backseats, see-through hood, and nose? Different strokes for different folks. It's also just not this forum, similar comments have also been made on other forums and car-blogs. But like others and myself have said, the mirrors are an easy fix.

They have been the same ones (prototypes & Z4) all the time. Some people were either in denial or just hoping for something else. It also didn't help when the BMW "insider" said the real ones were going to look like the Highlander, but scaled down to fit the A90.

I'm not going to lie, I was one of them. The design was beautiful, but it is what it is. Anyways, all this mirror talking is getting old and boring, lets move on everyone.

Is there a chance that the first edition for Club 900 will look the same way and only the carbon patch with #1 is unique on this auctioned Supra?
