I think it would have been really cool if Toyota had painted this one off Supra in RSP. Also stuff a 2JZ under the hood. I recall Masayuki Kai saying in an interview that they wanted to make one special A90 Supra with a 2JZ.

How dare you! Lol that would mean we wouldnā€™t maybe get a similar color in the future and I want that color

I remember A70TTR making a comment on this forum a long time ago that the mirrors would be similar to the Toyota Highlander's. Now we know they aren't. To be honest, I find those mirrors fugly. I wish they went with the TNGA style mirrors (not the ones on the Prius) that are on the new cars. It just looks so sexy. And its also because I really like door-mounted mirrors. If aerodynamics were really important, you could have still gone with the TNGA Prius mirrors. They're window mounted, which helps with aerodynamics in some cases (depends on how one engineered the car initially), but the design and size of the mirrors are amazing. I'm still not sold on the BMW mirrors on a Toyota product but they look great on their own cars. They pulled this shit off for the FRS/86 as well and put on Subaru mirrors ffs.

Nah, I'm pretty sure it was that guy from the BMW forum that said that. A70 has hinted for awhile now that what you see is what you get. He even said when we see it, a lot of us are going to be surprised, but not necessarily in a good way lol.
