Definitely do some dragy runs if you have with the 93 tuneMine still sounds way too intense even when using live updater set to override and moving slider to 0.
Even in Park, just revving it is tooo intense. Reached out to bm3 friends to see if setting to OEM burbles really requires reflash or can use the live update button. Also noticed that cold start is automatically disabled even though I have a high flow cat.
You can tell how paranoid I am to flash the car, lol
OEM is still intense honestlySo bm3 boys wrote back and said to adjust burbles in the map configurator, save and then reflash if you want to get it back to OEM style. Doesn't help my "Flashophobia".
Agreed, tried out OEM and it's less aggressive in Normal mode, however in Sport mode, sounds just as intense. Going to disable burbles later today and try that out.OEM is still intense honestly
I can live with no burbles. Turning of cold start is enough wear on my hi flowAgreed, tried out OEM and it's less aggressive in Normal mode, however in Sport mode, sounds just as intense. Going to disable burbles later today and try that out.
That was 1 of the things I forgot to look at when flashing. The configuration page has a lot of settings that need to be moved from select to OEM, or on, off. Default just shows, "choose" but not necessarily OEM. After initial flash, cold start was off. I have a hi=flow cat so need to turn that back on. And set burbles back to OEM. Then last thing is to play around with the torque by gear settings. Reduce 1st by 20%, reduce 2nd by 10%.I can live with no burbles. Turning of cold start is enough wear on my hi flow
So what happens if you leave most of the dropdown's set to "Choose" and don't select anything? Does that setting just stay as it is (default) or do you have to actually choose an option for each selection? Right now, I only have the Burbles option set to OEM, and the map doesn't feel any different, so I'm assuming if you leave everything on "Choose" it's just the default. That was 1 of the things I forgot to look at when flashing. That's what isn't clear. What default? default OEM? Or default BM3?So what happens if you leave most of the dropdown's set to "Choose" and don't select anything? Ok, so you're also saying your burbles are set to OEM and it's still loud? Can you try turning it off completely and report back? That's what isn't clear. What default? default OEM? Or default BM3?
It must be random because "choose" for Cold start ended up being off but for OEM it's on. Things like EWG, i'm not going to even touch that stuff.
Basically I have edited the burbles, set OEM for all the maps, except 1, set Cold Start ON in General, All maps, have everything saved and ready to flash.
Mine are off and it’s the best setting for me. Every other one is like gun shotsOk, so you're also saying your burbles are set to OEM and it's still loud? Can you try turning it off completely and report back?![]()
Thought OEM was way to much as well, here's my custom burble settings, I feel is just right, you can use this as a baseline and go from there. Much less aggressive than OEM and more nice humming burbles vs. gunshots.Ouuf, I reflashed the multimap with burbles all set to OEM on all 4 maps and it was actually louder than the default setting. Small rev in normal mode sounded like a frickin gun shot!
Not cool. I'm setting it to "disabled" on all 4 and going reflash. Hopefully this helps.
Thanks for this, I felt the OEM burbles before flashing were just fine, but clearly OEM in the BM3 settings is just not the same OEM, OEM. It's something else.Thought OEM was way to much as well, here's my custom burble settings, I feel is just right, you can use this as a baseline and go from there.
