Cool look forward to seeing the output. Especially since we have the same tuner.
Still waiting on one chart but wanted to get this out.

To recap and keep everything in one place, I’m adding content from a few other posts of mine. I think it’s important to get the full picture.

Until a monthish ago, I was running this setup. I ran this setup from 3k-7k miles.
JB4 Map 6, AA Catted DP, Eventuri Intake, FTP CP, xHP Stage 3, Fuel-It Flex Kit
440whp/456tq – There was a little ethanol in the tank, like E20
1698107724321.png

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In September, my setup changed to.
BM3 CustomRom, AA Catted DP, Eventuri Intake, FTP CP, xHP Stage 3, BM3 Flex Fuel Kit, Stock Turbo

*This dyno reads low. It's the dyno shop EPC uses and is known for being low.*
473whp/525tq – BM3 MultiMap 1.2 OTS and had E50/51 in the tank.
BM3 OTS Stock Turbo Dyno.jpg

Here’s the log file - https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=652ea819d10b434a9cd78284

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This past week we upgraded the turbo, manifold, and got PI ready (injectors but no controller yet).. and new Exhaust

BM3 CustomRom, AA Catted DP, Eventuri Intake, FTP CP, xHP Stage 3, BM3 Flex Fuel Kit, DAW Flow Max, EOS Mani, 1050cc injectors (not used), HKS Hi-Power Exhaust

This was tuned by Sameh. He’s very familiar with this dyno; again as it’s used by EPC. According to what the owners were saying, I can expect to see between a 25-35 gain in HP and 30-50 in torque. I have no fucking clue how they know these numbers. I’ll be taking it to my original dyno place (see top chart) next week to see how it compares.

Don't have log file - well I do, just not sure which log it is.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

525whp/525tq – BM3 Custom Tune E49 (remember this dyno reads low)

I’m waiting for this chart. Thought I grabbed picture but didn’t. You can see in the chart above that we hit 525whp/551tq but we didn’t like how the HP dropped off towards redline. Sameh made some adjustments and that flattened it out at 525whp. The torque isn’t “peaky” anymore either.

Here’s the log file for the final run – https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=6532c56854b1296f7d7f8249

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here’s a 4th gear pull I did after I got it back. You’ll notice the boost goes up due to having real load and we hit 19deg timing.
https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=65341ddc4fb77866491bdd03

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

General thoughts. I’m loving this new turbo and setup but wish I would have just sent it and got the PI wired in. Sameh really pushed it, but we kept maxing out the HPFP. It freaking pulls hard to redline now and I can’t tell the difference in spool vs the stock; which is what I expected. The drivability is MUCH better than the OTS tunes. You don’t even realized how bad they are because you get used to them. (Dad Advice: Get a custom tune.) Completely smoked a C8 this past weekend.

I’ll be going to my original dyno place to see what numbers it puts down there. It will be interesting to see if/how far off the dynos are.

Will post the 525/525 dyno sheet as soon as EPC sends it to me.

All that said. Huge thanks to Simon and Louaye at EPC and Sameh for the tuning. EPC handled the whole Femto unlock, turbo, injectors, and the installation. The whole process went well. Watching them tune the car was pretty cool. I haven't dyno tuned a car in many years (15!), good to be back.

Nice. Very similar to mine. He is running less boost but more timing, which makes sense on the lower compression 21+. Plus, I also asked for less timing because track use. I peak at 14*. Usually 1* of timing is about 10whp.

I dunno about a dynojet reading "low", It's a dynojet on STD correction. Although they aren't listing the actual correction number on the screens.

I bet she rips now!

Your 93 tune on the new turbo had really low TQ. Should be close to 500 tq with even stock turbo with a tune. Wonder how much the new turbo puts out in hp and tq on plain 93 over stock turbo??

Yeah, it is. Literally did one pull. I okay'd it as I always have E in it. Just wanted something for emergencies. We didn't have the dyno all day and I wanted him to focus on the E tune

I drove down to Chicago this morning, met @zrk and @Jesse DaBears , and they offered to install the RK Titanium single-exit exhaust I bought from Zack while I was there.. which I couldn't turn down. However, what doesn't turn down is the volume on this Track exhaust, especially with a catless downpipe 🤣

91 at $3.79 around here 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
But y’all must have incredible rest stops or roads, no doubt 😜 Miami/Dade County has the highest rate in FL. Driving through GA & TN, their gas has less tax than us and the roads look great 😂 So I bet we still have some wiggle room.

All our older people here do provide some advantage. They scour through every (tax) dime spent

Any reason why the pull was done in 5th gear? I thought the 1 to 1 ratio for the ZF is 6th.

How bout these ones, from last week!! Haha. For 87 though for my wife's car. But yea 93 was only 20 cents more. My buddy in LA, though is a bit more. Lived in Southern California for 20 yrs, so I'm enjoying these prices for now.

It's 5th. All dyno pulls on our cars should be done in 5th.

Our roads suck out here. Pot holes everywhere. I need to get one of those stickers that says "Im not drunk, just dodging pot holes". The only nice rest stop has been in Baker (worlds tallest thermometer). Its on the way out to Vegas. I think its actually the only one open between here and Vegas. No idea where our tax dollars go besides peoples pockets....
