Looking to find the best weekend car to complement my Evo 9 MR (Daily) and the Supra has caught my eyes since its release and faithfully waited for a Manual release. I went as far as to go to the dealerships stating that I am interested on claiming one myself. After a few years, the B58 engine has proven to be a competent replacement for the 2JZ if not better. For those who had a dedicated weekend cars or driven many sports cars, what car was the most memorable and the most driver oriented? What's it like driving the Supra (6-Speed)?
I have also looked at other cars such as the E90 M3, E46 M3, NSX (1st Gen) and the S2000. I have driven the S2000 before and I had so much fun with the car that after parting ways with it, I immediately bought another one a year later. Huge plus that its so easy to work on. This prompted me to search for cars that are driver oriented and sparked interest on the E90 M3 due to the fact it is a screaming NA V8.
Do you think the 6-Speed A90 Supra will satisfy my needs as a weekend car? Or should I pursue other cars?
