Just picked up the car. Put about 30 miles on it in traffic but 1st - 2nd does not suck anymore.

I also deleted my CDV a while ago with the E90 direct replacement part.

I'll do a formal write up this weekend, car is going into winter storage after I shoot some vids on it.

Did you get a chance to do a review or video?

Compared to my previous MT cars, this shifter is vague and has a bit more slop than I'd like. Sometimes I downshift from 5th to 4th and end up in 6th. Been driving manuals for 20+ years, and even though this shifter is better than my friend's new G87 M2, it's pretty mediocre compared to Honda's shifter.

Finally got this after waiting over 6 months and I can say well worth it! No more rubbery feeling, and putting into gear the vagueness is gone.

Would be tempting if they added a threaded end to gain the option for switching shift knobs.
I’m sure someone will come up with something sooner or later.

Ronald makes these by hand and each one is custom. I’m sure you could get a thread on it if you asked.

Hey digging up an old thread but I just got installed in my ‘24 the same autosolutions shifter and wow what a difference it makes! I told Ronald who runs and makes the shifter at AS that I wanted the same specs as user shamrocks albeit just slightly more traffic heavy/daily driver focused so slightly lesser reduction set from his 25% to 22.5%. Had it installed at a very reputable shop in NoVa. Don’t have a huge amount of time or miles on the car with it yet but hoping to change that soon. Just wanted to say it’s worth it if you desire an upgraded shifter since there really isn’t any other alternatives.

Got mine last year for under $600. I didn’t do much customization. Just 10% shorter throws and about 1 cm below stock. Well worth it to me!
