Almost harder to get than Club Racers. Last time I checked I was given a six month ETA.
So that's a thing? I'm trying to find a set of Club racers, seems backorder till fall... Reached out to a few company to see if any have availibility

Apex 18x10 fit with no spacers and also fit big brake kits. 275/35/18 work well with no rubbing.

Tried to order EBC RP-X to test this summer as well, been waiting for 2 months, no news on my order...

Starting to wonder if i'm going to end up doing the summer on stock pads or in my GR86...

Those running club racers at the edge can try moving to a pmu 777/999 pad. At the current exchange rate you can get them for cheaper than the club racers.
Loved the 999s. If you find a place that has them, let us know!

I’m on that wait list ?

Has anyone previously or currently run a square tire setup? How has the handling characteristics changed on the Supra?

Looking to downsize to 18"s and heavily considering a square setup but would love some personal feedback before deciding on wheel widths.
Depends on what you are doing it for. Feels good on either. Will you be only tracking? I run my 18 square setup for track (6 months). Saves money being able to rotate, get the tires I want (more options at a better price), and then go back to the OEM wheels during the off season. The OEM wheels have the tires they came with - better suited for rain. The Apex fitment guide is fantastic.

Might be OK for the summer, but my experience with those pads is awful. Looking for a pad that is not so noisy on the street and those were crazy noisy.

10 wide up front with an offset of 30 will clear the stock spring perch.
I can testify that the SM-RS 18" ET30 with Maxis RC-1s work but I had to remove the rubber on the perch. Very tight but fine.

Evasive told me 3-month backorder on the ClubRacers yesterday. They offered the Pmu HC+ as an alternative that is in stock. It looks like the HC+ has the same heat tolerance as the Club Racer (800 deg C), but the friction coefficient is different - more streetable and better cold bite. They are marketed as a street/track pad. I don't really feel like being the guinea pig to see how these work on track.

I price checked CSG, and they're even more expensive now than when I bought mine in early '23. It was outrageous before...

They actually seem like a more agressive pad and are more expensive as well. The Club racer pad is also marketed as a street/track pad

I might try them out and be the guinea pig for us all

Edit...throwing in CSG for comparison
*****
Some data points so I'm not working off of memory:

PMu Club Racer friction compound:
Temperature Range:
200-800ºC (392-1472ºF)
Friction Coefficient: ~0.45-0.59

PMu HC+ friction compound:
Temperature Range:
0-800ºC (32-1472ºF)
Friction Coefficient: ~0.43-0.58

CSG C21 friction compound:
Temperature Range:
380-950ºC
Friction Coefficient: ~0.42-0.48

Hmmm...this makes a compelling argument for the HC+. Not that I care much about cold performance, but it does look to be more streetable, and provides almost the same friction coefficient as the club racer.

I know @razorlab did a nice writeup here at some point about CoF for race pads.
