My gloss delete is is getting closer and closer to completion.
I stayed at Arlington when I visited DC on holidays a few years ago. Enjoyable time.

Finally! Ordered these late last year -- finally here. CE28N Plus 18x11 +34 (square setup) in Blast Bronze. Wrapping these in Advan Neova AD09's, 295-35 R18.

~ not sure why one would want to dropped down on the factory sized wheel unless you have a 2.0? auto crossing?

weight and tires.

Threw these wheels on the scale, and they're 19lbs. If they were 19x11, they'd be heavier. Tires are also cheaper in 18's combined with the economics of a square setups if you're tracking.

Switched to a planned non-op tag that only cost $20 vs $700/year. Track car only now, have been for a while but made it official with the state and get to save money and not worry about CA smog patrol and these high insurance rates.

Smaller wheels (rims) does not specifically mean smaller tires.

Take for example a 19 inch wheel with a 305/30 tire and compare that with an 18 inch wheel with a 275/35: the 18 inch wheel on a 275 will end up being bigger than the 19 inch wheel on a 305 by about 1/4 on an inch in diameter.

As people have said, squared 18 inch wheels is the way to go for the track, or if you are planning to have only one set of wheels.

You can check my build log where I touch briefly on that topic.
