How bad do you want a set? Haha. I might have a spare set laying around....I'll keep my order in, but next track day is august 2nd and I'd like a track pad by then...
Hit me up with a price and we can see if we can work something out...!How bad do you want a set? Haha. I might have a spare set laying around....
I tried them (Paragon R7/5 combo). Went thru them quickly, yet didn’t feel any better than the Hawk DTC 60/30s. So I went back to those.i've read a Paragon R7/R5 combo is great for the track. Paragon, made by Winmax
I have a set of Hawk DTC 60/30 and Project mu club racers for backup as well. Better safe than no track day sorry ? Hoping more Project mu 999s come in before October ?How bad do you want a set? Haha. I might have a spare set laying around....
My priority is durability/endurance (no fade over full sessions) and as little noise as possible (for street driving), not really outright performance.I tried them (Paragon R7/5 combo). Went thru them quickly, yet didn’t feel any better than the Hawk DTC 60/30s. So I went back to those.
The Project Mu 999 up front however, wow! Those have been the best I’ve tried so far. I’ve yet to try CSGs due to price. But on my to do list. DTC30s in the rear are plenty of bite for me and they last an incredibly long time.

sounds like the club racers lol. definitely DM Sean, he's a pleasure to deal with!My priority is durability/endurance (no fade over full sessions) and as little noise as possible (for street driving), not really outright performance.
upfront has been my experience. When ordering the club racers do they charge up front or when they ship?
yep upfront. Got an order on backorder that I should receive somewhere in october...When ordering the club racers do they charge up front or when they ship?
Yikes...that's sketchy. "Run group rules are X, unless it's an instructor, then Y"...not sure I'm crazy about that. Most clubs just use the ruleset for the lowest experience rungroup on track at the time, regardless of who the driver is. I've run with WDCR SCCA quite a few times, and felt they ran a pretty tight ship for HPDE events, so that seems unlike them. This was one of my exciting moments of the weekend:
Intermediate group. Point-bys only for designated straights, unless the pointing car is an instructor. He pointed left entering the turn. He must have thought I would overtake mid turn, but since that is not allowed, I interpreted his point-by to be for the zone we were about to enter right after the turn. He then gave a point by right when i was already along side on the left.

I simplified the explanation some. The point by anywhere is for combined instructor/intermediate sessions only, which this session was not. The instructor cars are marked with X's, I *think* they are still the only ones allowed to give points anywhere even in those sessions.Yikes...that's sketchy. What session was this? I was in the same run group and didn't really encounter issues with point bys except for the Orange Camaro giving late ones. Although I only drove on Saturday. Also you were moving out there! This was one of my exciting moments of the weekend:

That guy has a thing or two to learn from this Corvette guy that tried to take me out after giving me a point by... luckily I was paying attention and let off. Def not an "advanced" driver move. This was one of my exciting moments of the weekend:
