Hi Guys, Last Weekend I took my stage 3.5 A90 Supra on the Drag Strip @ Santa Pod. I have attached some pictures and my time slips for the day. Is there anyone on here that has some time slips they can post so I can compare my times against there's, I must admit I was quite disappointed with my times so want to level my expectations and maybe get insight into what mods will get me down the 1/4 mile quicker.
I'm in Nottingham if anyone is local and wants to meet up or come to santa a pod. Regards Mark

My car has the following Mods
1. Decat Downpipe
2. OPF Delete
3. Mishimoto Airbox
4. DO88 Mera Intake Manifold
5. Mishimoto Large charge cooler
6. Large engine cooling Rads
7. Large Gearbox Cooler
8. XHP Gearbox Tune
9. Tuned by Litchfield Imports

In the UK we move from stage 3 to 4 by fitting an exhaust system. In the case of the A90 B58 the Exhaust is very good so buying an aftermarket exhaust just to quote my car being stage 4 doesn't make sense so I've settled with Decat Downpipe and Mid Box/OPF Delete.
Can anyone tell me an exhaust is a must on a car with all the mods I have and why?
Reading on exhaust seller websites it's only agrpovich that say a power gain of 6hp will be gained. Other than I'd like a louder exhaust lower down the rev range, I'd say I'm happy with the standard exhaust.

What does this mean.

Driver mod, but what tires?
I've been trying the driver Mod Aha, no luck there. I'm still running Factory Michelin Pilot Sports.

Oh shit, we're Stage By Region now.

2024 is fucking wild.
What's your setup? What's your advice on my next mod? I'm thinking wider wheels with road legal slicks?

Your car is trapping the same MPH my car is trapping stock...

Are you sure the car is actually tuned?

Are the UK Supras rated at 335HP? Because your times are slower than what I've done in a stock manual.

Not a Corvette.

All EU Supras are 2 port.

And yes, this is slower than stock, even for a 2 port. Should be easily 120mph+.

I'm quite sure I couldn't get enough traction, hence the slow speed.
In the UK Litchfield Imports are regarded as top of the tree for tuning. I have ECUTEK and have felt the power improvement after each map update.
On the road the car is a rocket, but on the strip it was terrible. It felt like I was pulling away on Butter.

I expect I'm running over 600bhp with similar torque.

My drag race knowledge is probably dated, but from what I recall, only elapsed time is strongly dependent on traction. Trap speed is primarily dependent on weight and power, and additional traction typically DROPS the trap speed.
