I thought the same thing - although, nothing is said about functional vents in the video........weird.All the vents look to be functional now
just another form of suspension tuning.Ok, silly question from a total unknowing, noob. What is a square setup (I have an idea) and why is it important?
Aren't these pictures from the stock GR Supra? I saw pics of a stock GR Supra showing the same thing, so the car does have brake cooling ducts, the front vent is just part of the lower front opening, rather than the teardrop vents below the headlights.Yep, now they are open but I wonder why the one on the lower passenger front isn't.
Yes, that was from the stock version which is also covered on this GT4 concept. We know there is a duct in the production version so I wonder why the GT4 still has the rectangular cover. I thought it would have an inlet and piping. Or maybe the plate is a diffuser to channel the air to the L shaped vent belowAren't these pictures from the stock GR Supra? Do you have some more pics from Geneva? I mean what more Supras are there? Not only the GT4-Concept. I saw a red one on one pic. THXHere's our gallery from Geneva. Enjoy!
Huh, it's almost like the Chief Engineer wasn't bsing when he said the vents are fully functional, if one is ready to modify it.All the vents look to be functional now
I don't know why people thought he was BSing, a hole is a hole. Those blocked off vents means you dont have to cut a hole in the beauty side of your hood/door, design a vent for the hole, and repaint over factory paint to be functional, not that they would be pre-plumbed with only a $3 piece of plastic preventing functionality lolHuh, it's almost like the Chief Engineer wasn't bsing when he said the vents are fully functional, if one is ready to modify it.
That's because the automotive industry has been faking the funk for too long, esp Toyota.I don't know why people thought he was BSing, a hole is a hole. Probably because that's where sensors are on the production car. I guess there is no "duct" where that isYep, now they are open but I wonder why the one on the lower passenger front isn't.
Which sensors are you referring to? Ambient temp? The parking sensors are on the vertical plane section of the grille.Probably because that's where sensors are on the production car. I guess there is no "duct" where that is
It's for the active safety stuff. I would assume there is a radar behind there in the production car.Which sensors are you referring to? Ambient temp? The parking sensors are on the vertical plane section of the grille.
It's not symmetrical to the driver's side which has the tow hook cover so I'm wondering what's that blank section that's inside the rectangular piece on the passenger side.
