I’ll try to set something up one of these days maybe when I drive into work I’ll let you know before hand so we can catch up after or on a weekend.
Yeah, easy. I just probably need a day or two notice. Just let me know.

Are you running an after market exhaust? As much as I like my AWE Touring, I'm thinking of converting it to a Track edition. ?
If you drive her on a regular basis, prepare for earplugs. At the track, the track edition is fantastic. In a public garage, people literally will be covering their ears ? and you’ll be setting off Tesla alarms ?

Despite all that fun - just some things to consider ;)

I have the cerakoted version of the armytrix catless downpipe with built in cat defouler - 45k miles on it with no issues, still on stock tune.

I take mine to work on the weekends as well. Keeps the juices flowing.

As for the CEL @iambak, you get used to that purdy little light on your dash. That’s if you can get a catless dp & don’t have mandatory tailpipe sniffers over there. The sound is great and so are the power gains.

I think it's safe here the only time they do the check is if you are trying to get the car registered and I don't think they do random checks unless you give them a reason to.

I also so on another post that you were using Mini cats do those work and if not how long did it last before the dreaded CEL?

a question i had was are these exhaust parts region specific...if i buy an exhaust from the states would it fit my car?

The mini cat plug in worked until I went to the track. Both times I tried it. Too much heat for too long I suppose. Literally burned them out ? Why I’m used to that little CEL light now. Everything works on my car (most of the time - it is a BMW).

I agree with that, I'm used to the CEL light on and if you drive it "normal" the catless is not that* loud.

The HKS dual muffler has valve flap usage if you are just after sound. It makes a little more power too. I got a price from Advan Performance in Sydney. Hit them up and tell them Ben sent you.

You really should get a tune if you change the dump pipe/go catless.

HKS does not sound great catless imo. I have the HKS with catless currently and there is rasp/tinny sounds. It’s not as deep as it used to be

I’m looking to sell the HKS and go with a custom 3.5inch resonated setup to get back a deeper tone

One thing I'm not sure about, they talk about the AA downpipe not throwing a code but that's about 2k here which just seems too much for a dp. There are others that look like they have a slightly deeper O2 bung with maybe some metal gauze in it but I haven't seen any reliable feedback to say if that works or not. Would be keen on the AWE resonated street exhaust but hesitate to put down 5k when it doesn't do anything for performance

this is great to hear, have you ever thought about getting the car tuned at all. But you getting the exact dp i want and having it last with no issues is all i needed to verify that this is the one

I'm sure it doesn't hurt any, and besides, here in Australia our cars sound absolutely rubbish stock.
