Why did you decide to switch?
Which tune was better and why was it better?

A recent thread touched on the subject. It has good info. I recommend you check it out. It's not troll bait.
Just genuinely curious and am trying to decide if I want to change tuners.
That thread is the reason I'm contemplating making the switch to another tuner. It comes down to communication before anything else, of course.A recent thread touched on the subject. It has good info. I recommend you check it out.

Did you get a second opinion on the hardware before making the switch? What pushed you to go to Steve and not just believe Steve saying it was hardware?I started tuning for my Pure900 with PureBoost. Had all kinds of issues and he was adamant that there was a hardware issue. I switched to Wedge Performance and my car is rock solid now. Steve started with a few test maps to rule out any hardware issues and then he got to work. Start to finish the flex fuel tune took maybe a week and a half to two weeks. With Fabian, we were 2 months in on the base fuel (ACN91) and the end was nowhere in sight.
What impressed you about Hassan from the beginning? How was he invested before you bought his tune? Most tuners I reached out to either didn’t reply or gave vague responses, which was pretty frustrating and set the tone for how things would go.
Then I saw Alexx’s video on YouTube where he mentioned his tuner, Hassan from HTE Performance. Right from the start, Hassan was invested, even before I was ready to buy his tune. The tuning process was awesome—his guidance was clear, his recommendations were solid, and he usually replied in under an hour. Map revisions were done the same day, and even after the tune was finished, he was still around to check logs. I recently upgraded to the Remnant Omega 65, and the experience with Hassan has been just as good.
Would I switch tuners? Probably not—he’s been great, and the alternatives out there haven’t impressed me.
I started chatting with Hassan weeks, maybe even months, before I actually got tuned. Coming from a Honda background, the B58 platform was completely new to me, and I had a ton of questions on water-meth injection, nozzle sizes, single vs. dual jets, and even whether I needed methanol at all. It was a big learning curve. What impressed you about Hassan from the beginning? How was he invested before you bought his tune?
MHD?I’ve used 3 different tuners, all of them were highly recommended and very responsive. They all had a lot of experience with tuning high hp cars and tuning track cars.
All of them got about as much power as you could expect out of the setup, but only Zach @ CSG achieved 10/10 smooth power delivery and drivability.
No surging or overboosting or jerking when on/off throttle or partial throttle. He actually made even slightly better power than the other tuners while still having the smooth delivery and fast response.
I think he was the only one that really put a lot of time and effort into building a compressor map and understanding how everything worked instead of just guess and checking until getting a power curve that “looked good.”

Didn’t need a second opinion. I do everything on my car except for tuning and after going over everything with a fine-tooth comb I was sure that there wasn’t any issues on my end. I gave Fabian plenty of time to sort it out and he still believed there was a mechanical issue.Did you get a second opinion on the hardware before making the switch? Zach's a great tuner. Period. My tune on e50 was one of the first when flexfuel first was available for our cars. I immediately said sure it's do it, haha. Super smooth and reliable power delivery, and also hauls ass. As @kyle9 has stated, it is very smooth and has no jerkiness. The tune has always felt like how our cars would feel tuned from factory with a ton more power. What made you want to go through so many when you your first and even second tuner were good and experienced?
Love that building the map from Zach instead of guessing and checking. He's truly been getting glowing reviews on this forum.
