So my supra was in a snow storm on my way home from work. It had to sit in my driveway over the weekend but when i went to open the door this morning the windows were frozen. When i pulled the door handle the window didnt move down but i still opened the door, i cant close the door because of the window, i want to move the car but due to the safety features i cant move the car with the door ajar, is there any work around to moving the car while the door is open? Also is there any technique to rolling the window down with the door open if i manage to thaw out the window?

This happens all the time when the weather is in the teens (at least for me). Turn the car on, blast the heat, when inside gets warm and things start to defrost the windows will go back to being normal. The door will start shutting no problem also. I had to wait like 20 mins yesterday.

Yes, you press that button to lower the window. Then you can shut the door, and press the button in the other direction (I guess that would be a "pull") to return the window up.

If you don't want to be in the car, then if you lower it all the way and then raise it with the button - and the door still open - it should put it in the correct position to shut the door.

If that second suggestion doesn't put the window in the right spot, you'll have to re-index it. There's a rather simple way to do that, but it escapes my memory at the moment.

The button isn’t gonna work when the windows are frozen.

Uh huh. I get that. Reread his post, which I quoted above and below.
Fair enough although if windows are “thawed out” then they are in standard operating mode of rolling down when you open the door and just being regular windows again. Nothing really needs to be done.

my supra sat outside this past weekend when it was in the teens with snow and I could open and close my doors with no issues.

When the door is not closed, by default the car doesn't allow window up or down, doesn't matter if it's thawed or not.

You can code this out:

Body Domain Controller (BDC) -> Window lifter interrupt when opening a door -> Not Active

The question for you is was there snow/ice all around or on the window mechanism? My scenario i had already been in a storm driving home and the snow was melting from my defrosters so my guess is that water entered the window mechanism and froze it. If you just had cold weather and no storm then i think you had a better scenario than i had.
