Not passing inspection with a catless DP and DME tune. In order to turn off the CEL for catless, it will set the readiness not ready/available and that will be instant fail. Then if you don't use the tune to turn off the CEL, you will get a CEL. Fail again.

If you want to go catless, be prepared to swap in the OEM DP every year for inspection.
you can also move to FL. No inspections here….yet
What you talking about Gabe…. we’re full, it hot ? and stupid ass friendly homegrown Florida guys (like myself) will walk up to anyone and talk to ya. It’d be a culture shock for brotha B. Besides, Bryan knows enough to talk his way out of any inspection or proof the car before going in ?

But you’re right. There are plenty of other States that don’t do tailpipe sniffin? for those less inclined:

They don’t do tailpipe here either. Pretty much stopped doing that in most states, if not all. It’s all OBD2 scan and visual. California even moved away from tailpipe testing.

Plus, you couldn’t pay me to move to Florida. Too humid for me.

It’s not yearly in Illinois, but yes - as an engineer who spent the first 15 years of my career developing aftertreatment and OBD, you’re correct on how this works. This statement is for everyone else, because razorlab already knows he’s right ?
Yea this yearly inspection crap sucks. People like to talk S on California but at least when I lived there I didn’t have to do inspections every single damn year.

Figure of speech ?
Almost all of Ohio doesn't do inspections. Cleveland area I think is the exception. Plus Ohio clears out in the winter when half the old people go clog up Florida
I swear they all come to Ft. Myers
Tell the housing market to chill the fuck out and maybe.
Trade ya my place for a mountain home in Blue Ridge GA

From that emission checking website (cat free all clear):
“Georgia
No California Vehicle Standards in place or proposed.
