Clear codes. Put back on tender. Check battery state of charge in Bimmerlink if possible.
Ok, 12.5 volts and it sounded better but no start. Seems like the car wants 13 volts minimum. Should I unplugged my MHD adapter as I try to start the car? Also, Can you jump start these Supras? If so, at the terminals in the engine bay? Not directly to the battery, correct? My battery is also 2 1/2 years old if that matters.

Shouldn't matter. The OBD port doesn't pull much current.

Yes exactly. Use the terminals in the engine bay and not the battery in the trunk.

If it turns over without issues then the battery shouldn't be the issue.

Came to the conclusion that I need a new battery completely. Had 12.8 voltage and still nothing. I’m not receiving the sufficient cca needed. I got very lucky I was able to flash successfully without any damage to the Ecu. I’m looking at replacing the battery with a lithium one at the moment.

Check ECU connectors, make sure they're fully seated.

Keep us posted! Hope it all works out for you with the new battery.

I got the dme unlocked over a year ago. Haven't tampered with it since then.

**Update**

Put a 1000amp jump starter on it and car still won’t start. Cranks for a split second then cuts off (almost as if the car does it INTENTIONALLY) but won’t start. Checked codes and didn’t receive a low battery anymore. But still received a “Combustion engine: Unsuccessful start or engine stopped without driver influence.” - code without it pinpointing the main cause. (Ignore the 12.2v that’s after trying to cranking it).

another update** just put my Noco jumper back in to charge but it appears fully charged still strangely. I wonder if it’s registering with the car? Don’t want to have to override the Noco in order for it to work.

Does code: 21A023 need to be cleared in order to start the car?
Should I disconnect the battery and then reinstall it?

Here’s a vid of the jumper installed and working:

Have you tried flashing it back to a stock ROM yet?
Waiting for it to recharge the battery then will try.
Here’s a more accurate representation of what’s happening:

Although I have a Code : 21A023 I’ve noticed there’s A “212023” error code “appearing on a BMW after flashing usually indicates a “Data inconsistency detected in the DME (Digital Motor Electronics) module” which is the car’s engine control unit, often triggered by a corrupted software flash or an issue with the data being written to the DME memory during the flashing process”. (I don’t have this exact code but wonder if it corresponds to code: 21A023)

Just a dumb question.
Did you try and contact MHD on Instagram and ask them for help?
Maybe they have a solution.

Very weird that it nearly runs and then dies.

Yes, I did. They haven’t replied to me today other than - from earlier yesterday “Make sure to have car play fully deactivated”, “Then flash again”, “You can’t have CarPlay and flash with mhd it will cause an failure to the flash”. That’s it.

my CarPlay was off and in airplane mode
