Yeah I was interested in those two. I emailed AA to ask if they had a muffler cut out or diagram but never got a response.

I haven’t seen anyone with the MAP so it would be unique.
I literally did the same! They replied with incoherent talk of chambers and glass packing. Really wish they had someone who cared, love their downpipe.

May end up going MAP, will post here if I do.

Do it! I just noticed that the MAP has a chambered muffler design, should be even better for cutting drone and noise when cruising on the highway.

lol at least they replied.

I’d be interested in the review of the MAP. Do you have an aftermarket dp? If so is it catted or catless? I’m curious to how quiet it would be in normal. I haven’t seen a review for it outside of MAP’s.

I have the catted AA. Nothing could sound better than the AWE, unless MAP has some magic in there! Crazy how some places really don’t advertise well or participate here.

The muffler has the Inlet and Outlet sides offset from each other, which is typically indicative of chambered with perforated tube. But it's possible that it's an S-tube design, though those are less common
MAP did confirm that, via email

Aww dang, I should have asked them. Did they say how many chambers? I'm hoping to get as quiet as possible (almost stock) especially during cold start ups.
Is our valve open on cold starts!? I don’t even know, I’ve had the AWE so long.

Your mom is my ride
I bought mine used from another user on here so I can't say for sure how their customer service is.

Honestly, we all know that it's an alibaba exhaust, so if I had to buy another, I would just go direct to the supplier. They might be able to do something extra like put on an extra resonator or a larger muffler. The muffler does cut the drone a lot (watch that video I posted with some good headphones on to hear the difference), but the overall volume is still pretty loud when closed.

For me, the titan was the only exhaust that fit all my criteria:
-single midpipe for sound
-3.5" piping or larger
-large(r) muffler to reduce drone
-actuates with OEM sport button, no fiddling with extra remotes or motors

The only way they could make it better would be to make it out of stainless rather than titanium.
When you say - "The only way they could make it better would be to make it out of stainless rather than titanium."

Can you elaborate? Asking because the weight savings of the Titan kit is one of the reasons I am eyeballing it. Handling, acceleration, gas consumption should all be better with the titanium exhaust.
