I just read the C&D article about the performance testing being 3.8 seconds to 60mph and am excited to hear that but I also noticed in the article, C&D mentioned that although the Supra has Michelin Super Sport tires, they are BMW branded with the *(star) on the tire. Wow. All along, I thought Toyota said that they developed the tires with Michelin to be unique to the Supra. I guess what they meant to say was that it was unique to the chassis and since it's basically a BMW chassis, I now understand why it also has the BMW *(star) on the tires.

Seeing that BMW uses run-flats and in their higher performance models, use regular tires with a fix-a-flat kit, does anybody know if the Supra has run-flats or regular tires with a fix-a-flat kit?

I think there is a space below trunk floor for a spare wheel, no? On the other hand why would U run RF's instead of proper sport tires like MPS4's for example? :>
If it does come with RF's I'll get rid of them in cloud of smoke day 1, they are undriveable for me in a sports car.

I thought I saw in one of the video reviews where they lifted the trunk floor mat and I thought I saw that the battery was back there. Usually with BMW's, the battery is in the trunk to help with the 50/50 balance.

I don't like run-flat tires. They're expensive and they're very harsh. I don't recall anybody in the video reviews saying the ride is harsh so maybe it doesn't come with run-flat tires but then again, I also don't recall seeing any of the video reviews where someone said that there was a fix-a-flat kit in the trunk either.

Not sure about the fix a flat, but they don't come in run flats.
