So last week the car started vibrating pretty hard everytime I pushed the gas. Then I got a CEL and drive train notification. Thought maybe it was a coil or injector, spark plugs. I work for a Lexus dealership, we don't have the special tools for sealing and installing injectors. So I took it to BMW across the street because I have a good relationship with them. They got the new injector in, but it was still misfiring. So they decided to put a scope in the motor and now they're saying this "Number 6 cylinder has zero compression. It looks like one of the valves has damage like a piece of it is missing. The top of the piston is damaged. It is going to need a motor.
So does that mean I need a whole new motor? I have no idea what to do. Any alternatives or help would be appreciated.
