I saw some earlier (2021/2022) threads on the bar and was apprehensive about the shape of the bar being a little different then factory from those early pics. Idk if they revised it or not but mine is a carbon copy of the factory shape, just bigger. Cutting the last hole off for clearance and sending it. Pics for reference. No longer worried about the shape, at all.

Eibach logo is right side up as installed.

Ordered 28 mar 2025 from eibach direct.

Did you say you need to cut the bar to fit? Looking at the same upgrade so would like to know the modifications needed to make it fit. Thank you.

~ when I installed mine… the front bar was a direct bolt on … no alterations needed.

Yeah same here. It just went right in. I have mine at the middle setting. Shouldn't have to cut off the last hole.

Not a need. The end tips are real close to aftermarket control arms at certain suspension heights and angles. I'll never use the soft setting so will take an extra 1/2" of clearance

Nobody has to cut off the outermost hole ever. If you suddenly double the thickness of your FLCA, you need adjustable end links to raise the bar above the line of the FLCA. Make them full short so the ends of the bars point slightly upwards. Now you will have clearance.

I've seen more then one that had slight contact at the local race track. YRMV. Application matters.

That’s a great way to contact things. If anything, you want to do the opposite. Also, stating that nobody cuts the bar ever is incorrect.

You won't be preloading it if it's neutral on both sides. This is commonly misunderstood. There is no mechanical need for the sway bar to be parallel with the ground. The only requirement is that it's not under cross tension.

If it doesn't touch it doesn't touch. ? 90* is ideal but to your point it doesn't have to be there, that's just the best angle to translate the force of the opposite tire through the bar.

Driving 95% street and 5% track, would it make sense for an upgrade like this?
That is completely opinionated, however, with that being said I would do it. Makes the front quite a bit more stable and is a pretty cheap upgrade to handling. I run mine on the mid setting

you have several options. you can go whiteline front sway, which is the same size as OEM but solid rather than hollow.

this eibach one is the probably the stiffest aftermarket offer

i think it's a nice upgrade. it's hard to put into words. more go-kart feel without increasing NVH or ride stiffness :dunno:

Vertex and Bushido,

Thanks for the answers and explanations, i love the gocart feel, living out in the country side (no mountains in Denmark though) I would love this feeling.

I have a few Eibach parts already, to that would be my direction with the middel setting.

My yearly trip to the NĂĽrnberg ring in Germany is start June, so I better find one soon!??
