And I would know this, how?
No worries...I've been around for a couple of years and I do post a thread for my One Lap of America adventures in the track driving forum.

I'm not the fastest guy, but I know a little. I've been driving track events for 20+ years, raced in 24 hrs of Lemons for 15+ yrs, I used to instruct for NASA, and I've driven a lot of stuff on track. I'm about to take the Supra on its 3rd One Lap next week.

How does it work with tools and spares for OLOA? Even for a two day event in the supra, i feel like there's tough balance between under/ overpacking with how little interior space we have. Does people have friends in support vehicles traveling with them?

You cannot have a support vehicle for One Lap of America. No support crew. You drive to each track and carry everything you need in the car. You are also only allowed one set of tires, with only one spare tire allowed.

You will see a lot of cars with roof top boxes and small trailers.

That’d be too easy. Or anyone who could afford to do it would. I’d love to give it a try someday. Sounds like it’d be fun as ?

Bryan is correct. My car is so close to stock, I take next to zero tools. I carry a spare 18x10.5/275 in the hatch, and you just pack everything else around it. It's a fine dance of enough smaller bags to fit in nooks and crannies. You also use the space behind the seats for soft things. I don't do a roof box, I just cram stuff in the car.

Waterproof/water resistant is a thing...as it WILL rain, and being able to protect your stuff sitting outside all day is critical, as is rain gear. My clothes bag and my track gear bags are dry bags, and I bring several contractor trash bags to throw stuff in as well.

I'll start my yearly OLOA thread tonight or tomorrow so we don't pollute this thread to much more.

I

Table: Estimated Stiffness Comparison
ComponentDiameter (mm)TypeEstimated Stiffness (lbs/in)Increase Over Stock (%)
OEM Front Sway Bar24Hollow1730%
Whiteline BTF99Z (Soft)24Solid~193~20%
Whiteline BTF99Z (Stiff)24Solid~260~50%

ComponentDiameter (mm)TypeEstimated Stiffness (lbs/in)Increase Over Stock (%)
OEM Rear Sway Bar18Hollow510%
Whiteline BTR99Z (Soft)18Solid~61~20%
Whiteline BTR99Z (Medium)18Solid~69~35%
Whiteline BTR99Z (Stiff)18Solid~77~50%

Like Bryan I like the idea of only being mildly stiffer than stock instead of full on erect. Just might trade my aFe set in for Whiteline; or maybe have aFe front and Whiteline rear.
So the Whitelines front sway bar on soft is in.

Significantly heavier than stock hollow front.

Now that I was accustomed to the oem roll this front sway bar change ?20% feels after one of my usual spirited drives:

- like a significant reduction on body roll
- slight increase resistance to initial steering wheel turn in
- significant increase in front suspension harshness (crashy)
- quicker to load laterally and set the car

Looking forward to next months getting used to this change.

Thank you guys - FL. Razor, etc.
