Just note the bolts for the rails are one-time use. You need to follow a very specific torque sequence as well.

Just replacing one injector means you have to take one half of the rail off, which houses three injectors. I would make sure you just take out the one injector and not the other two. If you take them out and need to reinstall them, you need to replace the lower seal and use the seal contraction tool. For new OEM injectors, no seal tool needed.

I just went through all of this installing S58 injectors.
I've been watching video's and I knew about the torque and sequence but I haven't seen that the bolts are one-time use only. I planned on only taking out the 1 injector so I didn't have to re-apply the seal on the other two. Do you have the part numbers handy for those bolts?

Not a Corvette.

Everything is fairly easy and straightforward.

Part numbers:

Each rail use 6 of the small bolts (E6) and 4 of the large bolts (E8)

Manual states one time use for both:

Well I wanted to update everyone on this issue that has been going on for too long. I replaced the direct injector and that didn't resolve the issue. I ended up taking it to a shop where they discovered that my cam bridge bolt is bent and there is scoring on the cam shaft. I am being told the only fix is to replace the head, so I'm trying to figure out what my options are. Definitely not the news I wanted to hear.
