Howdy folks,

First time poster, new member here. I’ll save the lengthy corporate jargon for another time, but suffice to say I am happy to be here.

I just got done watching a TikTok (or in my case a Youtube Shorts video) video from Toyota’s page showcasing the new 2026 GR Supra Final Edition and the 2026 GR86 Yuzo Edition (hosted by PushingPistons). IN THIS VIDEO, he shows and calls out the new wind buffeting piece Toyota has installed from the factory…!!

Fully acknowledge the multiple aftermarket options that indeed fix the problem and have been for many years now, but I can’t lie, there’s just something about an OEM part # on a car like this that just sweetens the deal for me.

Curious to know the group’s thoughts on this? Maybe Toyota will indeed have a part # for this and allow it to be ordered in their dealer parts departments? Does it look like a tack-on piece to the mirror to you guys(?), or maybe a whole new mirror piece? Video made it a little hard to tell. I added a screenshot of the vid where he was pointing at it.

Looking forward to your thoughts.

Looks pretty crude to my aerodynamic eye. I mean it may work but it's not exactly "elegant" is it.

I think it may only be for the "final edition" as I saw a MY26 reviewed on YouTube and it didn't appear to have any.. which is laughable. Having said that, it's a pretty easy, if annoying, thing to fix.

None of the US Supras are getting that janky piece. It looks like only the EU Final Edition will have it.

For me, the bigger question, does it actually work? Because at 60-70-80 mph, mine still seems like a decoration.

Of course, I bought mine CPO so it came with it. :p

Pretty sure they're going to be part of the package on the final edition that comes with the GR sticker and red mirror caps

I will believe it when I see it. The non GT4 US final editions don’t have it.

Yeah that's what I meant. They only come with the GT4 Style pack. I just couldn't remember what the name of the package was called.

yes
in my experience, the AWE foiler is best at eliminating/minimizing wind buffeting at 100+. the amazon ones stop being effective at around 80mph. because these take on that same right angle shape, i ASSUME these will actually be effective at 100+ while remaining discreet

edit: not to be one of the forum old ppl, but kinda crazy there's a whole thread on this lol
