Howdy folks,
First time poster, new member here. I’ll save the lengthy corporate jargon for another time, but suffice to say I am happy to be here.
I just got done watching a TikTok (or in my case a Youtube Shorts video) video from Toyota’s page showcasing the new 2026 GR Supra Final Edition and the 2026 GR86 Yuzo Edition (hosted by PushingPistons). IN THIS VIDEO, he shows and calls out the new wind buffeting piece Toyota has installed from the factory…!!
Fully acknowledge the multiple aftermarket options that indeed fix the problem and have been for many years now, but I can’t lie, there’s just something about an OEM part # on a car like this that just sweetens the deal for me.
Curious to know the group’s thoughts on this? Maybe Toyota will indeed have a part # for this and allow it to be ordered in their dealer parts departments? Does it look like a tack-on piece to the mirror to you guys(?), or maybe a whole new mirror piece? Video made it a little hard to tell. I added a screenshot of the vid where he was pointing at it.
Looking forward to your thoughts.
