Drive both M2 and M3 and decide. The M2 has an aggressive front end on turn in compared to the M4 and probably the M3. The M2 is a hybrid of the M4 suspension/springs. Look underneath and the suspension parts are labled M4 on most of the components. They certainly are on mine. Have fun in the search! M2 M xDrive is confirmed. Thoughts are in calendar 2026, so thats an option?
I have actually driven both, G87 a couple of times and I was one of the early G80 adopters, owning one for a year or so before getting an suv.

I just hate that the ZF8 is so much more lively than the manual. Almost a night and day difference in the lower end. What transmission do you have?

xDrive is cool but I'm used to rwd even in the snow...

Im a ZF8 driver in the M2. I had a 17 M2 here in Germany and was armed with DCT. Superb. Never going back to a manual again. the Xdrive is just a grip monster off the line. Its fun but reasonable driving in winter conditions is no problem in the current M cars either. Full winters all around and go. If its utterly shite weather, I just keep the car in and work a bit from home :)

Thats a really nice M3 by the way. Tanzanite Blue yes??

I gotta agree with you as usual. However, I wasn’t as versed with the ZF8 as you. Bought her thinking I’d doing more in town driving. Then the free track day happened. Holy shite Batman was I wrong! What an utter blast to drive this ultimate driving machine on track ? Now I’m completely hooked driving her on track. Trying really hard not to fully convert her to a track car lol.

I’ve been eyeing them lately…. Carbon roof, Cognac interior, ZF8…

Went up in smoke last night, though. The missus put the kibosh on it right away and said the Supra is staying ?

Amazing combo!

That being said, my brain is trying to understand the lighting conditions needed to produce such a bad photo. The wall is lit up like from a pair of headlights, but other parts of the garage should also be illuminated then?
