BACK AT IT ( Need Recommendations + Help )

HELLO Guys,

I just Bought Motul 8100 Power 5w30 Oil
Anybody tried it out ? I was between it and X-Cess gen2 8100 5w30 but it seems power is better cuz weather here ( where i live 113-122f summer weather sometimes it drops at midnight to 100-102f, dealer used 0w20 and seems to thin.
Basically i was a bit worried cuz its not BMW LL01 something approved unlike the x-cess. And i didn't wanna go over 30 would be to thick.

made a right choice? please let me know

So people say 7 some people say 6.5 some say 6.2 so whats the deal ?

also MT guys anybody did the Bimmercode Sport+ makes a Difference in driving or same as Regular Sport ?

6.5 L put it at the max line for me, so I guess it depends how much old oil is left. I'd start with 6.2. Yes 5w30 is better for hot climate

I did sport plus on my MT, it is pretty similar also I datalogged it compared to Sport mode and there was no difference in boost/timing/etc. Maybe just a little more burbles/throttle response but negligible.
