Base on the 17 inch wheels this is how it stacks up to the MKIV. The length is roughly the same, but the wheelbase is just a hair shorter. If I had to take a guess, maybe 2 inches less?

Gives us some hope that once the camo and bulbous cladding comes off, it should be a pretty sleek, well proportioned car.

I've never been a fan of that nose. It just looks strange. I would rather see it slope downward for a sleeker and smooth appearance.

A smaller car drives better. The concept was grossed up for stage presence, not for driving dynamics or passenger comfort.
this!!! also i think smaller cars look so much sexier. i took my dad's CLK to the dealer for service work. started wondering the dealer and saw an AMG GT in the showroom next to a C63 AMG coupe. the AMG GT was so sleek and sexy, and made the C63 look huge!

i also think it is a little to high. however BMW is known to use fake bumpers for test mule and prototype testing.

Pretty informative video. Agree that this Supra is not going to be a world beater or super car. Never it's intention. The Supra should be the next step up from the 86 with a reasonable price tag. A couple of things that is troubling. Hopefully that single pot brake caliper in the rear is for the 4 banger. That thing is tiny. Also agree that wheels seem small. The other concern I have is the wheelbase. Can't believe that the wheelbase is shorter than the 86. Short wheel base cars can look frumpy. The rear seat issue is not a concern for myself.

Just need to wait and see. Sure seems like the car is going to be more bmw than toyota at this point. Curious if anything on the car will be toyota besides the badge.

he didn't scale it correctly. the 86 @(101.2 in) has a longer wheelbase than the MK4 @(100.4 in).

Someone please tell me why I shouldn't just buy a Z now?
cuz its ugly as sin :p

on a serious note, if you're wanting to switch to Nissan i would say at least wait until the Z35 comes out. from past experience we gotten anywhere from $5k-$15k off of the price tag after the release of a new generation.

Maybe the wait for all these new models will be worth it.....

Yup, if I had to take a guess I would say around 98 inches base on my overlap comparison on page one. It would make it the same wheelbase length as the current Z4.

^looking at the new 5 & 7 i wouldn't be surprised if that is the case.

Wheelbase
F01 (120.9 in)
G11 120.9 in)

F10 (116.9 in)
G30 (117.1 in)

Maybe the wait for all these new models will be worth it.....
same guy on youtube talking about the new Z.

Its good to see that overall it will be around the same size as the old model. But I am a little disappointed about the shorter wheel base :(

Once the camo and faux bumpers comes off it could be a few inches shorter. I was just trying to show people that it is indeed larger than cars like the Z, 86 and etc.

If I had to take a guess at the dimensions.

Length: 175 in
Wheelbase: 98 in
Height: 50 in

Yup, there are definitely fake bumpers on this thing. A lot of people think the front bumper that we see is the final design, but its not. Its hiding the real bumper underneath. A Toyota employee over at SF has said even though it appears to be less camouflaged than the earlier prototype the car is still heavy disguised. There are panels still over the hood, lower door, fenders, quarter panels, and trunk. He even said the side skirt won't be the final design either. The only areas that are really exposed is the roof, A pillars, and upper half of the door.

on the Lexus website it has the RC350 at 3,748 lb and the RCF at 3,958 lb. no official word on the LC yet, but magazines and test drivers have estimated it at 4,200 lbs.
Lexus officially has the LC at 4,280 lbs

3,400?? Sub 3k lbs is what we want, and what was advertised back in....sigh... 2014. It's completely doable considering the 2+2 Porsche 911 has a curb weight of 3,175. We'll see.
This!

Its one of the reasons why I'm not a fan of the R35. Sure it has tons of power but the thing looks like a boat. It also isn't as much fun as my friend's R32.
