To add to this, there’s only two plugs on the market for our cars (That I’m aware of) that are equivalent to an NGK heat range 10 plug, and nobody really uses them. From 500-1500hp and beyond, almost everyone uses the stock plugs, with the stock gap, and the stock ignition coils. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

But if you must, pick your flavor; iridium or silver:

Take a big guess what version of b58 that kern has in his car

If you can't connect the dots after all this, not sure what to tell you.

I run 300whp over stock and run stock Champion plugs with stock gap, used hard on track. Tuned a bunch of other Supras, used hard on track with 200-400whp+ over stock, with stock plugs and stock gap.

This is me sharing actual experience, not some other persons youtube videos. I'm not being argumentative, hard headed or a "angry lib". I've been a tuner for 20+ years.

Always the ones not actually contributing knowledge themselves that yell and cry.

Alright this is the first and only time I'll help you. Kern's older b58 uses a ngk heat range 8. He went colder to 9. The b58 gen2 in your car comes with a 9 by default. Dustwhn has noted that while 10 plugs does exist, no competitive racers use them.

Iconic engines like 4g63 and 2jz come with a heat range 6 and 7, respectively. Your factory plugs are already 3 steps colder or 2 steps colder than those ones.

Actually i stand corrected, 2jz runs a 6 heat range from the factory as well. So we're 3 steps colder from the factory than both.

Champion RERX4ZWYPB is indeed OEM on certain years (My higher CR 2020 being one of them)

They are heat range 4 which is equivalent to NGK heat range 9.

I find it highly ironic your posts keep getting so heated, calling us all sorts of things, saying we are clueless, hard headed, keyboard heros, angry liberals, idiots... while we are all here sharing and explaining things in a pretty darn even way.

Mirror mirror, on the wall...

P.S. You typing FACT! /END! FACTORY! MERICA! in all shouty caps isn't the proper way to debate. Just yelling doesn't give you the edge you think it does.

But yes, MERICA!
