Thank you sincerely @rwense for your diligent communication(s) the whole way until this last batch was shipped out! Glad I made it into the 2nd Group Buy and finished the install this past Sunday.
It honestly took longer to jack the rear end up than it did to install every aspect of this high quality part. The directions afforded were super simple to follow and justified buying a few new tools to add to the collection.
I forgot to snap a pic & I’m not on social media but 100% vouch for this superb product.
Hopefully it’s not just my experience but the drive definitely feels different in a really good and more controlled power kind-of way. Or it could just be the butt-dyno placebo of a new part…but I don’t think so in this case…

Well F’ me. Figured I’d replace rear diff fluid while I was under the car doing the install as I’ve got 40k miles on the car and have a Daytona track day coming up. Silly me I overtightened the drain plug/temp sensor and snapped it off. Good news is I was able to get the sensor out. Bad news is I won’t have new one until Tuesday.

Just another silly adventure working on this car. I guess I don’t know my own strength and gave it one ugga-dugga too many.

BMW dealer wouldn’t even tell me if they had the part without a BMW VIN. Good news is my son has an M2 and it is the same part. They had to order and said a week. FCP Euro can get it to me by Thursday if I pay shipping that is 3x the price of the part. Toyota dealer said “we can have it here Monday afternoon. DONE!

Figured id share these two pics from a friend's car. For context, his car has ~30k miles and most of them are track miles. Its fully caged, makes >500whp, and overall is just a gnarly build.

Early on in the design/development he mentioned to me how one of his bushings was cracked and wondered how far the diff had sagged due to the busted bushing. Turns out, ~3/8"!!!
