Perfectly put!
Yeah I'm not going to try and damage something something else with a glory run but I will go for 750whp on stock rods and pistons as long as everything is looking good with the tune.

After that I'll put some forged goodies in there and headwork and push for more but I think a solid 800whp on this car will keep me happy for a while. At least for a couple of weeks. Haha

750whp - 800whp is VERY Impressive for a platform that has been in the market for what....a few months??? Canā€™t wait until the platform matures :headbang:

Exactly. By the time I need stronger parts or other items I can't make, they will be available. SEMA is going to be like Christmas. I will def take some cash with me for the "we don't want to haul it back" part sales. I got a Plazmaman RB26 CNC intake manifold last year at PRI for like $900 and it was listed wayyy over that retail.

Oh I know....im saying, itā€™s specific use in the A90. Great results so far.

Hi,

unfortunately we have registered here too late. :rolleyes1:
It was definitely a manufacturer problem. We think a rod bearing mounted incorrectly.

As you can see it has only damaged a rod bearing. All other rod bearings are like new and all undamaged.

The B58C has a sturdy construction and very different to the B58A.

Block, pistons, cylinder head, chain drive, oil pump, intake manifold, etc. has been changed compared to the B58A.

If anyone has interest, we can make a thread where we talk about the details and differences.

Here only a small insight:

An in-depth difference thread would be appreciated, since most users here ( includung me) thought that headifold would be the only difference between b58a and c

We will gladly do that soon and show you details. :)

Currently we are at the finale tune of our turbo kit. The engine now has classic H-Desgin Connecting Rods, reworked pistons, modified cylinder head.

Shame about the rod bearing, but pretty exciting stuff with that kit. I'm a big of meticulous packaging and Borg Warner/EFRs.

So stock longblock can support that power level?

My main question is what are ya'll doing about fueling? Or are you just using a ton of meth?
Which of the three is the weak point:
HPFP
LPFP
Injectors

I'm working on upgrades for all three but this is not something that will happen fast. If you already have a solution I will buy it just let me know.

Also what octane and ethanol content are you using?

Thanks

I donā€™t know too much specifically about tuning this motor, but would it not be more cost effective to just add port injectors?

I'm working on that too but it's also a heavy project and requires:

1. A completely new intake manifold and deleting the water to air system which also cools the A/C (No condenser on the front) and going to air to air and having to route all of that piping and build a front mount. To keep A/C you'd have to build a condenser and mount it on the radiator in place of the old heat exchanger.
Or
2. A completely new intake manifold and designing a bigger water to air intercooler that fits inside of the new intake manifold.

I want my setup to not rely on meth or any type of injection in the charge piping.
