I’ve been flip flopping on purchasing one and saw that the group buy was going to end so I decided to just do it 😂
Thank you!

Finally got around to installing mine. SCCA TT is at CMP this weekend so I’ll see how it feels.

Exhaust clearance is a little tight on the driver side. I’ll have to keep an eye on that. Obviously not a knock on the brace, so many different exhausts on the market. Install was easy, changed the fluid and installed the brace. Nice design 👍🏼

Is that the stock exhaust?

Dropped the car back down today and from this angle there's more room than I thought. Just a small update.

I'll have the car out this weekend. Anyone else going to be at CMP with SCCA?

I haven't installed my 3-bolt on the Z4 yet, variety of life-in-the-way reasons but am certain it'll fit. Another Z4 owner has made the 4-bolt work by replacing one of the bolts in the factory bracing with a shorter one so that it cleared. FYI for any additional Z4 owners, or FE Supra owners.
Saw this post so was ready for a shorter bolt when I did the 4 bolt install today on my FE. I'm not sure how the they got the 4 bolt working with just replacing a bolt....

For FE and Z4 owners. You can do the install without removing the 2 long arms, Just remove the big bolts holding the arms to the black mount, then pull the 4 bolts and remove the big black mount. That gives you enough room to go straight through the back above the arms. I did find that one of the bolts/captive nuts lands right on the head of the bolt going into the diff on the 4 bolt passenger side. I don't think a shorter head on the bolt going into the diff would let it clear. I just deleted this bolt, put the factory one back in and turned my 4 bolt into a 3 bolt. Also the bottom of the diff brace is very close to the arms, about 1/8" gap. Should be enough clearance, and a quick drive around the block didn't reveal any rubbing, I guess this will test how much flex there is with the brace, maybe it does do something... Worst case I'll through a couple washers where the arms attach to the rear mount and that would push them down another 1/8". @rwense you might consider still offering the 3 bolts for the FE and Z4 owners out there.

Pic of the interference with a 4 bolt on the passenger side. 3 bolt would fit perfectly.

Awesome, thank you for the write-up! Ill definitely consider offering them in the next group buy. Might make more sense if I classify them as a Z4 specific variant as it seems most people dont quite understand the difference between an external differential cooler and the verus scoop.

Thank you again, I appreciate it!
