Wheel colour looks good. I AI'd a similar colour on mine a while back but haven't gone there yet. I think yours's is a bit lighter and better.

It was my friends first time tracking in his GTI and was in HPDE1. At the end of the day, he wanted to ride along to feel the Supra, so we gave him a healthy 80%-85% push

Was at Buttonwillow also in the 86 for the weekend. Was nice to meet you in person and glad your friend had fun at the track for his first time.

Car is even more dope in person. Grats again on the promotion to time attack. You going to Chuckwalla in February?

Was nice meeting you at BW. Thanks man. I'm going to try but it depends if I'm in the state or traveling for work. You?

I am planning to be there. Hoping to make the move from HPDE 2 to 3. Chuckwalla is the last "socal" track for me. Im thinking of making the trek to Podium Club in AZ as well in November 2026, but well see how the year shakes out and how busy work is.

I just went to grp3 and it was great and I’ve never tracked anything else before. The only thing is make sure you know and see the flags and focus on safety. Grp3 gets rid of the grp1s which helps a lot to get better track experience but you just need to be aware of everything.

for sure seems like 3 and 4 just have a good over all understanding for the rules and safety while being fairly quick. Got plenty of sim experience, but I'm in no rush to level up and just taking each track weekend to enjoy myself and learn how to drive on a track.

Spent some more time today working on my little side project, a GR Supra themed app.
It can now detect whether the car is in Comfort or Sport mode and automatically adjust the gauges to behave like the instrument cluster.
Oh, and the app now also fully supports EPB service mode, service reset and bmw specific fault code (6-digit) module scanning. I will be posting a thread later about the progress so far.

Any OBD ENET Wi-Fi adapter should work, including MHD Black/Red, Bootmod3, Thor, xHP, etc., as long as it supports ENET communication. The app supports both Wi-Fi and wired connections.

As for the phone mount, I'm just using a cheap generic one I bought on AliExpress years ago.
