So I thought I would give the Delicious Tuning Power Plug a shot. So far it has not been the best experience (for me) so I’m hoping that I’ll hear from someone that either has had luck with it or others that also have had issues. The original one I had immediately gave me a cel of ambient temp (code P12B9). I constantly had to clear the code but seemed to be running fine, definitely noticed a power difference, however it was concerning and inconvenient to have to shut the car off, and clear the code just to drive off. So I spoke with them, and they have been helpful. They had me send back the old one and sent out a new immediately. Not one issue or cel since taking it off. Received the replacement, but Being that I’ve recently been able to go back to work I haven’t had a chance to try the replacement until today. Car completely off, again, installed step by step. Double checked, triple checked. App said updates on the tunes were required, I let that happen, switched to 93 octane since that’s what I use (however the following happens whether it’s on 91 or 93) Started it. No cel came up but the car was saying there was a PT issue, however it stated it was still driveable...damn. So I shut off the car, let it cool off a moment. Started it back up, cel. Code P0237 (boost sensor A low circuit) cleared it. Tried again, same code. Removed entirely, and no issues... I’m stumped. I really had high hopes for this but I was warned by some on here about piggybacks. I was only interested I a bit of a bump so it was at least up to par with the 2021’s... I guess now I get to decide if I want to remain stock or if I want to wave goodbye to my warranty and go with EcuTek...
My goal here is to only find help from other users.

As a high school teacher once said, time to toss it in file 13.

Honestly if sometihng was messed up enough to where the would check the ECU then they could possibly see the piggy back as well. They might be a little more laid back about a piggy back but I couldn't even gusss how that all would work out. What I do know is these cars do have drive recorderes and they record the peak values of certain incidents such as maximum speed, rpm, boost, and likely able to see wastegate poition and fuel flow. So if they dug in far enough they might be able to see the piggy back manipulating data. If fuel trims were 20% off and suddenly arent then that could be a flag.

It is also possible to inject ecutek into the ECU and it may not show a flash count. I haven't verified this though.

Really? I did not know that. So your saying I should just say screw it and go with EcuTek?

If you are more concerned with the warranty I would A) keep it stock, or B) go with a JB4. If you want power... EcuTek is going to give you plenty of smiles per hour. =D

I haven't used the JB4 on this platform but I haven't seen a lot of complaints about it causing issues. YVMV

I have yet to hear of a single tuned B58 engine that has failed. Have you professional tuners melted anyone's motor yet?

My engine is fine. It’s only when I put the piggy back module on it that I get a code. Remove it and it’s perfectly fine.

We can tuner your car without it changing the flash counter.

Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. Happy to help.

Throwing in my .02 even though I don't have the Delicious Tuning piggyback. I Have the Titan Motorsports piggyback with an AFE downpipes and an MST intake. I have had it for 5k miles now and no issues whatsoever and I drive the car pretty hard. Just got my oil changed and all is well.

Nothing wrong with piggyback at all. But to be honest, its not comparable to EcuTek. Lol.

If you ever want to talk with some of the guys that have made the jump from one to the other, theyre tell you its a substantial difference.

Oh I definitely agree with you. Just throwing in my experience with another piggy back since OP was having issues with his. I am in no way saying Titans Piggyback is the best. Just have not decided to make the jump yet to an ECU tune. If I do, it will most likely be Ecutek

Ecutek seems to be the best from a performance standpoint but I’ve heard it can only be loaded on a windows computer, loses the license if you ever flash back to stock, and the installation process is very complicated unlike BM3, i watched a video of someone loading the tune and it was quite intimidating haha
