What does your paperwork say?

Seems like there's a remedy for the seat belt recall now, which I wonder if that's what they did on your car since it wouldn't require much time to inspect and replace it.
Question! So I ran into an unfortunate problem where I may have to replace my stock front calipers.
I'd like to go with AP Racing 9660 kit and have your SM-10 wheels 18x10. I still have stock struts/springs. Do you know if the hat of the AP rotor will change the offset and will I have clearance...
At least your new model has a heat pump. You'll be saving a lot more juice in the winter than I do with my older resistive heater. Track mode is a hoot too...its truly a video game.
His girl has an SUV according to his post.
If he's in a natural disaster/area/zone - even in California where we have power shut offs for a variety of reasons - there's solutions like backup generators, solar battery power storage solutions etc. Does that all cost money? Sure, but it's proven to...
Your #2 statement is the important one in your decision making criteria. I have a P3D and Supra. But unlike you, my Supra is focused on car control/HPDE and weekender. The P3D is a great place to be on the daily and incredibly reliable with little to no maintenance. Enjoy your Tesla and forget...
Make sure they know which recall. The seat belt one isn't available yet but the ECU software update is available...so unless they don't have the laptop with cables already in the shop...which they must if they service Supras, I'm not sure what other parts they need. They just have to download...
I didn't think it'd be a big deal but the text/graphics/maps/touch-targets actually do get much larger - due to the adjustment in aspect ratio. It's much more pleasurable to use, although it'd still be cool to enable split screen view for the compass/elevation info (if you're nerdy like...
haha the SPL FLCA added no NVH to my car, if that's helpful. I think if I had went the camber plate route, maybe I'd experience some added NVH. My goal was for better track handling and alignment flexibility - ultimately to not have to shell out $1200 after 1-2 track events lol.
Enjoy yours as...
I added the SPL FLCA w/adjustable caster. You can see my tire wear, imo, is pretty darn good.

It's just normal - I don't have a comfort mode.
At Sonoma, for the temps and the tires I had, i felt it was plenty responsive - either in Sport Trans D or manual shifting. At Laguna, I found Normal to be lacking...but I don't think it's the response that changes in the engine modes, it's the...
Thank you.
I took advice from a friend and in the last session and used 'normal' engine instead of 'sport'. Far far far better in terms of controllability. I still have to work on it of course.
Also noted on the fixation - something I do better at a familiar track like Laguna.
Always more to...
Originally I was booked for the free track day with NASA via Toyota/GR. That got cancelled due to the open recall - which I actually addressed a few days prior to the event. I had emailed NASA if they'd let me run if I paid - they said yes, and I signed up for HPDE 3; originally I was assigned...
Yes. Geary. Happy to report I was on track today and the brakes never did give up! haha.
I did have an odd issue leaving though. The car stalled itself as I was rolling out of my parking spot - off throttle. Super odd.
Got my car back this morning as they promised.
I'd say my car was returned to stock aside from my driver profile, supra connect, and navigation were all still 'activated' and knew who I was.
I do have full-screen CarPlay and I think a new brightness/contrast adjustment on the reverse camera...
It took ~2 hours to change my oil and I was watching the tech do it from a window into the service bay in the waiting area. It just seemed like he had to walk to different ends of the service area to grab different tools, computer, oil, filter, etc. He wasn't hanging out or chatting around with...
Unless the Supra tech at your dealer is really bad, it seems like standard procedure to hook it up to a charger. They did that for my buddies and I at all our local dealers when changing the oil. Since they have to hook things up to it.
UPDATE
My SA just called me (after hours for them) and let me know the Tech's computer had various updates it had to download and install and a new file came through that was 10GB...and I'm assuming the dealership has basic internet. So it took them hours to get it and they're going to run it...
It's like the seat belt recall applies to more cars since that's likely a shared component across all Supra trims. It's definitely on my 2021 3.0 - and indeed there's no fix yet - waiting on parts. It's also just the passenger....they ride at their own risk lol!
