Did you also get full-screen car play?

On FB there's been two posts from people who got the recall done and explain they got full screen car play as a result too. I suspect all of the updates are being pushed right now. My appointment is Wednesday and will report back - it sounds like there's a few others doing it this week too.

Since posting I did get the tires and have run them at Laguna and running Sonoma this coming weekend.

The FAQ states 1-3 hours but depends on how busy your dealer is. I suspect the ACTUAL update is 30 minutes.

Heard back from NASA and it appears the contacts that sent me a confirmation today were unaware of a recall.

I emailed NASA a few days ago asking if there's a cancellation. Radio silence. **update** They sent a lengthy standard email pairing me with my coach etc. Doesn't seem canceled.

This is why the 'out lap' is important at HPDE. You'll experience the failure prior to starting the hot laps.

haven't gotten my cancellation notice for end of month Sonoma registration but I did see some others who got notices. what a pain for NASA.

With all the banter, I wanted to confirm with you that there's no actual fix available yet? I'm unlikely to cause this problem to happen, but when a risk is identified, I'd like to eliminate it. Thanks!

I feel your frustration. At least you can adjust the lights once you're at a crawl or stopped.

The best thing to do is NOT to start the car improperly. That's the cause and easy to avoid.

I'll be mindful of how I start my car at the next track day. :D
