I don’t believe there are any catless downpipes that won’t give you a CEL. Even most catted downpipes still throw a CEL. The AA catted and I think one other that uses a GESI cat won’t throw a CEL, just about everything else will.
I've gone down the route of having a cheap daily and a fun toy, and I gotta say I don't think it's the best approach. It's boring most of the time and you end up so rarely enjoying your expensive car that you start to wonder what's the point of even having it.
It's much better IMO to keep your...
Yeah mine is hiding in the garage until it gets nicer outside. I am planning on heading out to High Plains Raceway once things warm up a bit, it's a little bit of a drive but should be fun.
So would I, but no...not that I know of. I'm not on Facebook or IG though, so maybe there are some meets that get coordinated there?
I'm up in the Westminster area. I've seen maybe 3-4 Supras on the road since I bought mine 18 months ago, never met any owners.
I don't know if it's this way everywhere, but Colorado Prius drivers are the worst. They're aggressively slow, meaning they'll cut you off, block the left lane, and force you to drive under the speed limit. People always complain about BMW and Dodge Ram drivers online, but they don't hold a...
If I understand correctly which arms he's selling, no. There are 4 replaceable arms in the rear:
1) lower traction link - can be replaced easily
2) toe arm - can be replaced easily
3) upper camber arm - can be replaced relatively easily
4) upper traction link - need to drop the subframe to...
Hmmm...that's strange, it definitely shifts automatically for me when in full manual. My car is tuned with Ecutek, maybe a modification was made there which might have an effect
Both I think, but definitely sport. I never use normal manual, I only use manual in sport mode, and it's never hit the limiter because it'll shift first. There have even been times where I was trying to shift at redline, and it ended up shifting up two gears because it automatically shifted at...
It won't let you downshift to too low of a gear.
It will also automatically upshift at redline in manual mode, it won't hit the rev limiter. If you get the xHP trans flash, you can also set the max RPM shift points for each gear in normal, sport, and manual mode for further customization.
Pulling the engine actually isn’t too difficult, you just keep unplugging and unbolting things until there’s nothing left. It’s the putting-it-back-in-the-car-and-getting-it-running-again part that you gotta watch out for
