Back when I had mine, the phone got so hot (iPhone X) that it throttled frequency and became unusable.
I strongly suspect that the case has something to do with this, I may play around with bumpers or a different case material to see if it changes once I own a Supra again.
The new 5 Series hitting dealers this month is the one and only vehicle that works now. Apparently they’re trying to get other manufacturers on board with a “standard”.
One of my friends started to say something about risk etc... I have 20+ years in cyber security... I told him that anyone can...
My point about not discounting the driver is that if you have a light one and a heavy one racing each other, small differences in vehicle weight can be almost entirely (if not entirely) negated if you have a heavy driver in the light car and a light driver in the heavy car...
Lap time is lap...
You guys making these arguments defending your light cars are actually confirming the point I was making (thanks for not seeing the forest from the trees). My point is there are two camps, and the guy in the article is a light car guy which biases him away from cars like the 3.0.
I don’t care...
We definitely don’t agree - even on the claim that you own a light car. Truly light tiny cars, like an Elise is just under 2000 pounds. The fallacy that small weight reductions are wildly differentiating is silly. Some people make these claims about cars that driver weight can negate! Anyhow...
I’m just saying people who latch on to cars of that ilk are all about the balance and “handling”, and mostly want lightweight throw around vehicles. It’s an odd benchmark but they generally unfairly apply it to just about everything.
Sadly, printing an opinion piece that will create maximum controversy is pretty much the rule of the day. Throes of death for traditional media. Good riddance.
Also, he’s one of those Miata people, which is almost certainly coloring his opinion. Definitely take even less stock in what he says...
Right, but no bag? In my experience the bag is useful. That’s an extra $10 on the Covercraft site and much more from a 3rd party...
EDIT
I see that they say the bag is included. Okay then, good deal!!
Just checked Covercraft, the shade + bag + tax + lowest cost shipping comes to $99.54.
I can’t seem to find an OEM shade... when I owned a BMW, they used BMW branded Covercraft and I think I got that with bag for $50ish...
Not yet. Gonna be extra hard for me since my car was repurchased as a lemon. Likely will try once I buy the replacement.
Interestingly I found out an old work buddy is a NASA instructor out in N California. If anyone is out there and runs into a guy named T Marc, tell him I said hi.
Congrats and welcome!
Not to be pedantic but that would be an A90... the A91 is the special edition with blue or black paint and the extra spoiler, etc...
Looks like you can request beta access to the tool now. Once I can use it I’ll post my impressions and whatever Supra data they have.
Sample of the dashboard from their site:
Looks like they’ve got a beta version up. I signed up to gain access. I’ll report back when I get a chance to use it. This is a screen shot they have depicting the info dashboard.
