I believe my build date is 12/19.
Here is the end result. Front bumper was repainted and STEK PPF was installed. I’m happy with the outcome and they gave me a discount for all the trouble.
In regards to the paint, it appears red on these vehicles has its handful of issues. There’s a gentleman...
Accidentally posted in marketplace so making a new thread..

What’s up everyone, doing some homework on tuning and wanted to see how much the stock turbo can take safely before it blows up lol.
I’ve seen tunes that have taken it to 24psi with no issue, but my concern is longevity...
What’s up everyone, doing some homework on tuning and wanted to see how much the stock turbo can take safely before it blows up lol.
I’ve seen tunes that have taken it to 24psi with no issue, but my concern is longevity. Obviously you gotta pay to play, but if reliability is in question, at...
Interesting feedback..
I have never actually used a catch can before, but I do understand the concept behind it. I’m wondering if it’s even worth putting a catch can on if there’s still a substantial amount of oil still being found in the charge pipes.
What’s up, hope everyone is doing well.
I wanted to know if anyone has any experience with the forge catch can and if there has been any issues with it. I’m not sold on Mishimotos catch can and am looking for a better alternative.
Planning on tuning down the line and would like to prevent oil...
I’m glad everything worked out well for you.
I don’t blame you for wanting to take a break from the Supra for a while, but definitely don’t let it leave a sour taste in your mouth. Plenty of members here have zero to no issues with their cars. Lemons happen, someone in Austria probably wanted...
I wouldn’t accept a buy back unless it was for the entire purchase price of the vehicle. That would be the best option at this point. The entirety of the purchase price of the vehicle and any interest paid thus far would be a total win.
If they can offer you a new 2021 with the same terms and...
I’d want what that guy was smoking.
STI, Civic Type R, and Golf R start at high 30s. The 300hp Q60 starts at 41k. I highly doubt a twin turbo 400z will be in the 30s, that’s close to impossible.
Dude I’m so sorry to hear about your car problems. It’s frustrating as hell to buy something brand new and run into so many issues.
I’ve owned older BMWs before, but nothing as electronic or sophisticated as the Supra. I’m assuming the issue is mostly electronic. There must be some sort of...
Oh that’s crazy, I’m glad I’m not the only one who had this issue. This kinda sucks though, you would think being a newer car you wouldn’t have so many paint issues already:thumbsdown:
Update: car is still in their possession, should get it back this week. Looking for a deep discount once everything is said and done.
This is a shop in Sacramento California, 5 star rating on Yelp with multiple reviews. PM me if you want to know the shop’s name. I’m not trying to drag their...
As far as I know, that’s the only part affected (was told that a small rock chip caused the separation). I know for a fact that they took more than one try to apply the PPF correctly. The ash in the air forced them to remove and reapply, the number of times I am unsure.
This brings up another...
Hey guys, I’m in quite the situation here and wanted other people’s opinion on the topic.
Supra paint issues.
Apparently this is a real issue with this car and I wanted to know if other people had similar experiences.
Long story short, I took my car to a well known and highly rated PPF...
Culver City is a joke, they have a launch edition sitting there for months with a 10k markup. I tried talking numbers before I bought my premium 2020 last month. Granted I was offering them 300 over invoice, but still lol ;)
Keep searching around, you’ll find something good.
I know new cars are exempt from smog for a couple of years, that’s a given. I am curious to see how California Supra owners go about SMOG when the time comes. Installing a down pipe is not rocket science, but more of a pain in the ass and an inconvenience to swap in and out. There’s also “hot...
