XHP is the trans tune. 100% worth it for us auto guys. Nothing you can use with a manual. Protool is mostly for when you start getting rid of factory parts so that the car doesnt throw any codes. Basically this is a more in depth version of Bimmercode. For example, if you put in a bucket seat...

Finally did a software update. Now I can install my seat and send the ECU out to Femto. Still have to recode everything which I am not looking forward to since its a combo of XHP, Protool and Bimmer code....

3.5° is even pushing it. How he got to 4, no one will ever know. Maybe just dont run the bearing? You can see where I clearanced it a hair so that I could safely get to 3.5. This is on the inside.

I would advise all you Verus top hat users to not go over 3.5° camber. That plastic bearing will rub on the shock towers and they will be ruined.

It took me about 3 track days for the shutter to calm down. These 999s though, perfect out of the box, even on old rotors.

If you got some time, my Ohlins R&T will be off my car in a few weeks. Would be sold with Verus top hats and RSR cancellers. They probably have 8k miles on them.

Mine look the same. Normal RE71 stuff. Keep on driving and get some camber in that thing.

Skip the CR and go straight to the 999. Way better of a pad with no downsides to the CR.

spend the time to make the drive and go to Monrovia alignment. Probably 2 hours from you but 100% worth it. He took about 2.5 hours on my car to ensure it was perfect. Even had me sit in it so it was extra perfect. You would be surprised how much the alignment changes with you in the car.

I have had no luck getting it to do anything by holding the window button. I have reverted to manually adjusting it. Got to take the door panel off to get to the bolts but that will solve your issue.

Like Pete said, the coding wont help with the shudder. Its just a common thing with the PMU CRs. Happened to me when I was running them for the first 4 or so track days. Then they slowly got better. The PMU 999s have been shudder free for me at least.

You make sense to me! But after turn 1, you are supposed to hug the left side of the track up to turn 2. That whole section curves to the right. Granted, its not much of a curve but you should not have the steering wheel completely straight which will cause it to feel weird when braking with no...

@Levophed which configuration were you doing? If you were going CW, a lot of the braking zones arent in a completely straight line and what you said would make sense. If CCW, most are in a straight line and wouldnt make sense.
