I did a 59.72 in 2022 with stock 2020 power, MCS 2WNR, no aero, 275 CRS V1 square.
However, that was my first year tracking at LRP and first year tracking a RWD car so probably could have gone faster at that level of mods if I didn't then mod more over that winter. I'm pretty sure I could do...
I'm defining more tables in my DME and I found these two that might be of interest in this thread.
Max and Min oil pressure thresholds before it sets an error.
Axis's are oil temp F and RPM. Table is oil pressure in PSI absolute
Sets oil pressure by temp and RPM. Increasing oil pressure is usually needed when adding a HPFP to keep VANOS exhaust actual to target. Without increasing oil pressure, the exhaust VANOS gear has a hard time staying on target.
After asking MHD support for the oil pressure setpoint table defined, they basically stated the table wasn't needed (even after showing them why in fact it was) and then ignoring me, I just took initiative myself, found it myself with a little help from A2L viewer and ChatGPT and some good old...
OEM fits like… OEM. I think maybe you were doing something incorrect when installing. Did you keep the bracket loose on the turbo hot side when putting the turbo back on the head, or did you tighten it down before bolting in the two bolts from the bracket to the block?
Best lap I could muster from yesterday. Vitour P1's still almost exactly 1 sec off the pace they did for that one "fast" lap the first day. Tire is so over-hyped. It was hot, I was running less power and way less boost in 6th because of the slipping last event, but still off pace.
Yea, most organizations here in the North East are point-by only. It took me a bit to get used to it because I ran with open passing groups when I lived in California.
The infamous Rush race car guy that didn't know what a point by was last event magically finds out his arm can form a point by this event... Also 911 cup car.
Yup, maxing out HPFP and rail pressure drop 2000 psi. Timing is also insane.
I personally would find another tuner if your current one is having an issue correcting this issue. It's a super easy solve.
